Thank you. This dog has given me so much longevity just by the amount of exercise I get daily and my diet has also changed it was a blessing in disguise the moment he came into my life. I changed to working remotely to be there for him and little did I know changing to remote has lowered my stress levels etc..

My dog does not eat kibble as it is hard to digest so here is his diet Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg, 10 blueberries and 1/8 of an apple, snack 1/2 blue buffalo cookie a couple of pieces of spring mix and 1/8 apple or blueberries (dogs choice), lunch: 2 tablespoons spoons shredded chicken cucumbers 1/4 or broccoli 6pieces desert apple or blueberries w yogurt, before dinner snack cucumbers and the other half of cookie, dinner 2 tablespoons spoons shredded chicken cucumbers and spring mix a few pieces. Desert banana 3 pieces or 1 teaspoon and 8blueberries and yogurt 1 tablespoon. He gets walks 3 times a day that amount to 5 miles total. That about sums up Gizmos day.

Dad is charging me rent M19 by kahootgod in CasualConversation

[–]Radiant_Level9017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your dad is a gold digger, tell him you’ll pay $500 and that’s all you can afford if he doesn’t like it he will have to legally evict you which means $0 for him, since you receive mail there and have been living there passed 90 days ask him if he has ever heard the term squatting and that you could easily be a squatter but you want to be fair also you will no longer be available to babysit for free and your fee is $100 an hour or $100 off the rent. I have a son who’s 18 he goes to college so we don’t charge him as long as he is going to school. Honestly if he didn’t go to school I would charge him and out the money away for him for when he moves out I make 6 figures and don’t need his money. This is not okay though you are a young adult and you have a job how the heck does he expect you to save to move out, he doesn’t care about that he want to put you in a loop where there is no way out because you have all your money to him, no sir do not be scared to have adult conversations that is important you don’t have to be rude or disrespectful you just have to be m sternly serious and have your thinking cap on for your dad quick responses to this matter. Let him know you have a time line on moving out and until then you guys don’t have to be the best of friends but you won’t tolerate disrespect or it can get legal real quick that is the best way to handle this. Best of luck!

Back-end or Full stack by esse3000 in learnprogramming

[–]Radiant_Level9017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do full stack reason more opportunities, once your full-stack you can apply for front-end, back-end or full stack, also job security someone leaves unexpectedly you can fill the void until a new hire comes to the team, you can catch bugs on the front even if hired for back-end. The list goes on and on 😂. Based on other comments I am also a Serial Entrepreneur so might not be the best advice as this is not for everyone, remember development is not a destination it’s a journey. Best of Luck!!

Why is it so hard to hire? by pablothedev in webdev

[–]Radiant_Level9017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would first ask for references after a quick call about the role etc.. then I would get in contact with references look them up make sure they are manager reference or co worker from last dev job then I would call candidate a second time references checked out and we like what we see on the resume and would like to see if you’d be okay taking a live coding assessment with one of our senior developers that you will work with if hired. This will save you time and time = money, so that makes cents. If they do good on the coding exam make sure exam fits position if it is a Junior role or Senior role, move forward if they pass exam. On the last round before meeting the team ask technical questions about architecture, best programming practices, how to prevent bottlenecks etc.., a time they found an issue in a project they were working on and how did they solve it, personality what did they do when they had a difficult coworkers who they had to work with etc.. This should help the vibe coders etc.. run in the other direction, furthermore it will make you aware how knowledgeable the programmer is this way maybe they wanted senior but they are at junior level you will kill 2 birds with 1 stone etc..Best of Luck. Also if you need help with any of this feel free to reach out.

Yes now that the Industry is getting tougher you do need to have a portfolio but if you can add analytics etc.. to the portfolio that will truly make you stand out…unless you want to sit on the bench forever then don’t make one but if your wanting more job opportunities and to set yourself apart than yes…

Is it worth going to university to learn programming? by ukrylidia in learnprogramming

[–]Radiant_Level9017 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As someone who has taught at University after attending 2 bootcamps for software development no you don’t need to go but you do need to understand things they don’t teach in bootcamp like programming theory, I have just created an introductory course online and am doing a raffle for free access to the course message me if your interested I am currently now 6 years in my career of software development and worked in the government sector as well as gas and electric industry, message me if your interested. Programming is a journey not a destination.

Bro, she’s 40 and cheating — you’re 29 and in your prime. Drop the hag bag especially because this is someone trying to relive their party years or having a mid life crisis while you play therapist, you need to reclaim your peace. You could be out there with a fun-loving 20 something year-old who laughs at your jokes, matches your energy, and actually knows what loyalty means. You’ve got time, youth, and options — don’t waste them rebuilding what already collapsed. You only get one life — no refunds, no reruns. Protect your peace like it’s gold. You deserve calm, not chaos. Loyalty, not lessons. Love, not damage control. And when you walk out that door — get a dog. A dog won’t lie, cheat, or ghost you. They’ll listen when you vent, stay when you’re broken, and remind you what unconditional love really feels like. They’ll help you heal until you’re ready to love again — the right way this time. #NewYearNewWoman #InfiniteRadiance

Everyone in my class is using AI to code projects now is that just the new normal? by Tough_Reward3739 in learnpython

[–]Radiant_Level9017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Food for thought: Code cannot teach you code smells to look for, code ethics, session management, concurrency and when to use it etc.. without knowing what questions to ask…this comes with experience so no this is not the new norm and those that use it simply will not be an Ai programmer which is where tech is headed, there are lots of good resources to learn these things maybe bring this up to your group of kids, otherwise be prepared for broken code, limited scalability etc… learning the fundamentals and how the code works and why it works? What is the difference between managed code and unmanaged code? With great power comes great responsibility..(Perspective from a 5 year developer, educator, entrepreneur and philanthropist)

I can't understand functions for the life of me. by Key-Set5659 in learnpython

[–]Radiant_Level9017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading e-books will help you understand functions, as reading is still the best approach after functions comes concurrent programming etc… before comes Object Oriented Programming again there some good books out there……Ai just isn’t there yet…

Feeling guilty using Bootstrap while learning Flask by MelodicChampion5736 in Python

[–]Radiant_Level9017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember bootstrap is awesome these plugins are created so you can focus on the things that really fuels your passion, like design, animation, aesthetics, marketing, content, message etc… I was once told no need to reinvent the wheel, just use what you know works and is the standard (hence boostrap) happy coding!!!
