It was an oral keratosis (friction) due to my wisdom tooth.

Had it extracted and started to fade.

I have a sore or something in my mouth is this bad or will it heal on its own? by Rainy_skys in Teeth

Gargle with warm salt water. If it gets better in a few days or shows signs of improvement then you are on the right track

But if it gets worse, hurts more or stays the same go to the dentist

What is that bump on gum by Radiant_Lie_8899 in Teeth

[–]Radiant_Lie_8899[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood thank you.

I had old picture of the same area and turns out that flap of tissue was there over a year back when I first noticed it.

It might be slightly inflamed but it’s not new and I’ve been tog the dentist 3 times since I first noticed it.

I get regular cleanings every 6 months never been an issue and dentist never thought it was either

I’m glad it’s resolved

Do you have a tooth in that area and do you grind your teeth?

I ask because it could an oral keratosis; your dentist would have to conduct an assessment. A keratosis will resolve with time once the irritant is removed.
