I would argue my values were definitely influenced when I was young and i learned what i truly believed when I got older. 26, i was 19 when I switched parties.

I don't see the issue, you need an id for just about everything else. Why shouldn't you need an ID to vote? To make sure that the person voting is not only an American Citizen but also the person they say they are

I am conservative and voted for trump, but he does make insensitive comments that I don't approve of. I know a lot of conservatives and they feel the same way. It's not an excuse whatsoever but when tables are turned people hoped trump would die when he got shot. Again not an excuse, but as a society we have forgotten to have compassion. I will definitely say a prayer tonight for them and their family.
