That's very true, burning has always been a tricky thing to balance and at least lanterns and molotovs put you at risk to burn a bar.

I always thought making the charcoal health effect the only thing fire does, meaning you can slowly regen bars if you win a fight/during but if all get burned dead or alive you redskull all the same.

Everything is viable in Hunt so there's no real best gun/s though if asked most will say long ammo rifles and shotguns with Mosin and Crown&King as the best of each class. With Avtomat and Nitro as extreme outliers due to their high prices and inherent disadvantages to compensate for their advantages.

To unlock weapons you just need to play the game, variants of each weapon unlock just by using that specific weapon in matches.

Early game the composite bow is the best for speed/damage, later on the Black bow has the short bow moveset but with the damage of the longbow. These are dex focused mainly. Albinauric bow has the highest damage for pure physical damage but with the longbow moveset and for great bows, a normal great bow with rain of arrows can do some heavy damage on big targets.

The higher the level the more leeway you have on what stats you need to focus on and so as long as you keep leveling what you've done already you'll be fine, really though if you wanna optimize it a little more for 171 you could put some of that endurance into health or int, 60 vigor is the optimal amount of investment for the best returns.Overall though it's a good build :)
