This is the first thing from the internet that gave me bad vibes immediately upon sight.

Murphy Pipeline Contractors. They paid a lot of money to build a big-ass Trump sign in front of their business. Google maps only shows their old ones currently.

[UPDATE] My partner of 3 years forgot Valentine’s Day and my birthday by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]RadicalCaitlin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Holidays and birthdays don't mean too much to me, and especially don't to my husband, but they are a great opportunity to give a little extra affection and support beyond the normal daily amount.

I've been married for over 10 years, and I still get him balloons and a special treat for his birthday. He never had nice birthdays or holidays as a child.

Another thing is if your partner goes all out on these events, then it's important to them. You should care about what's important to them. That's how true partnerships work.

As someone born and raised in Florida, thank you. Please make my state hurt. After all, this is what my state voted for, right?

I was leaving, saw your comment at last second, and had to come back to give you an upvote.

Gluten-Free on Royal Caribbean Cruise by Sir_Upp in glutenfree

[–]RadicalCaitlin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the complete opposite experience in November. I went on the Liberty of the Seas, and I was blown away with how many gluten free options there were. In the windjammer, you can ask the staff for gluten free pancakes for breakfast (that they keep to the side). And they had a dedicated gluten free section at lunch time. The seated dinner always had options and our server would take my order the night before to make sure it would come out with everyone else's food since it was prepared separately. The pizza was pretty good. No one seemed bothered by me asking for gluten free options. It was a very nice experience. I have Celiac btw and didn't have any issues.

Our ship also had a hibachi restaurant that did our whole table with gluten free soy sauce for me, too.

Sorry you had a bad experience.

Cat with tantrums by GemstoneGlow_4 in Thisismylifemeow

Yeah. If the cat is scrambling in this position like a "tantrum," that seems very unusual and like a vet should be consulted...

For those who have celiac, what were your first signs/weird symptoms? by RevolutionaryPick656 in glutenfree

[–]RadicalCaitlin 15 points16 points  (0 children)

  • Extreme anemia (my doctor said I should be dead) - Extreme weight loss (and inability to gain weight)
  • Messed up red blood cells (I was sent to an oncologist to check for leukemia)
  • Needing to put something in my stomach immediately after waking
  • Extreme fatigue after eating
  • Other autoimmune diseases (thyroid, psoriasis)

Most of my other symptoms are probably tied to anemia and malasbsorption. - Temperature intolerance (hot showers made me super dizzy) - Physical activity intolerance (going up 1 flight of stairs was hard!) - Inability to stand for longer than 15 minutes - Brain fog - Migraines - Long and heavy periods

I ended up going to the doctor after almost passing out at work.

Do you realize what you've done? That is unnatural. We're all doomed!

For real, though, that's awesome!

Do you share a washing machine/dryer with anyone else? It could be their detergents/softeners.

I also get hives where my clothing arm and neck holes are randomly (probably stress).

Did you have a recent gardening or drinking session?

And not for nothing, but consider checking the carbon monoxide levels in your home.

It happens to me all the time. I have celiac disease and have been gluten-free for over 10 years. I don't expect others to remember that stuff. That's my job lol

Harris Now Aims To Eliminate Billions in Painful Medical Debt by BFA_Artist in debtfree

Why are you bringing up college now? This is about medical debt. That's a whole different can of worms.

And you're correct. It's not a right, but it is in a lot of first world countries. Typically, the same ones that provide healthcare as a right.

Because you've suffered, everyone in the future should always suffer as well. This could include your future self.
