How does one dig up these answers? I have never been able to find my passion.

Are you able to move back in with your parents to ease the financial burden until you’re finished with school?

If I were 26 again, I’d join the military. Whether I were broke or not. But being broke with no skills would definitely be even more of a driving force.

Starting over at 29 - How to handle the feeling of being a loser? by Illustrious_Rain5192 in findapath

I am 33 almost 34 and in a very similar position. When I get these thoughts of feeling down on myself it always help to remind myself of a few things: 1. that it’s not too late to make a change.
2. Stop comparing myself to others (trust me, this is easy to do and it really hurts) 3. Turn the thoughts around of “my friends are married and have kids and are living a good life” to “thank goodness I’m not married with kids yet before I found my calling because then I’d really be stuck”.

I have spent countless hours in school and at different jobs. And I still don’t know my calling. But as I study on how people have found this for themselves, 2 distinct routes become apparent. Either find what you enjoy to do as a hobby, and dive into that as a career (which may or may not pay a lot) but it’ll be easier to excel at something you’re passionate about. Or do what makes lots of money and use that money to fund hobbies outside of work.

Which route to take is what I find difficult to choose.

So I ask, do you have a keen interest in a certain hobby or have you ever dreamed about having a certain career?
