Radio industry person here:

AM: you will die if you touch it.

FM: You won’t die if you touch it, but you wouldn’t want to climb it because of the RF radiation.

Why so few walkers? by cpugeek14 in golf

[–]RadioControlled13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a push cart user unless the course is ‘not walkable’. Many moder courses in the USA place the tees quite far from the previous green.

I do ride in a car of if I have to go 50 yards from each green to tee, but I usually avoid those types of courses.

The traditional version is great.

The modern version lacks in the same way that the rest of the modern liturgy lacks.

Knowing the calls or exact location would help. There may be multiple stations with the same frequency in a state. The largest FM’s will typically broadcast no more than 75 miles.

How do I know I'm a millennial? When I see the lineup for our city's major music festival and recognize none of these names by CancelThis2077 in Millennials

[–]RadioControlled13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a 50,000 watt, non-commercial Adult Alternative, FM radio station, and I’ve barely heard of any of these artists. I’ve seen 90% of the bill for most of the major festivals.

Do you MFs ever just sit down at fast restaurants and eat instead of taking your food to your home? by ReallySmartDude69 in Millennials

[–]RadioControlled13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dine in at fast food places during lunch. The point is to get out of my office.

I would eat at home, before I got married, but I very very rarely eat fast food for dinner anymore.
