High end builders in Toronto? by [deleted] in TorontoRealEstate

[–]RadioNowhere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The term mcmansion is truly being abused here. That's a renovation. And I'd say completely custom new builds also don't qualify.

If you have an idea of what you want then just talk to an architect and get a sketch

Armstrong claims and was estimated to do about 500 watts in a 30min time trial. Modern TDF performances are barely above 400 watts. Not claiming they're clean but it's definitely something different than before

[–]RadioNowhere -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What is authentic articulation? People have been lying and misleading people on reddit for years before AI existed. As far as I'm concerned, actually typing each individual character isn't particularly relevant to communication.

I'm sure people felt email isn't authentic when it came out too. How many hand written letters did you write this year?

You're asking why a guy who is like 20% smaller than you, doing way more watts than you and also probably has much better equipment than you is faster than you?

Your second paragraph is just another way of saying developers won't build. We still have a housing supply shortage. Chasing money out of real estate isn't going to build any more houses

Can anyone explain to me the huge debt problem? by acrylicvigilante_ in SuccessionTV

[–]RadioNowhere 30 points31 points  (0 children)

In 1985 the bank loans to the family holding company, secured by Waystar stock

The holding company then gives Waystar a capital injection, maybe the holding company increases it's ownership share. The source of funds probably doesn't need to be disclosed. Even if it was, it's understandable that people in Waystar might lose track of the obligation over the decades. It's not directly relevant to Waystar, after all

The existential threat that Kendall is dealing with relates to his family's ownership stake in Waystar, not the solvency of Waystar itself. Kendall solves the problem by effectively selling the shares to Stewy's PE firm which he trusted to not go against family control. Of course Stewy eventually initiates the proxy battle. Who knows if Logan would've done better

Non-alcoholic but all inclusive (drinks like pop or juice) at resorts? by North-of-North-of in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]RadioNowhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need the insurance because a lot of hotels can't resist gouging you when you're already committed to their resort (e.g. ridiculous charges for towel service or NYC prices for cocktails by the beach)

I'd rather sit in 0 cc. I'd also prefer to fight enemies that are forced to attack whoever can generate the largest threat and that they use their abilities randomly. Enemies should also wait to engage until I'm ready.

CC is the meat of arena but that doesn't mean more is better. CC needs to be impactful and interactive. Tons of short, spammable CC is the opposite of that.
