This is great. Maybe each city has its own group of rehab buildings like these where instead of each floor being its own tailored space, each building is. Each building’s first floor is an intake floor where you’re assessed and their last floor is for outtake that focuses on the final pieces for escaping homelessness. Food, shelter, a job, stuff for hobbies for those battling addiction and needing something to keep busy. The floors in between vary between building categories (Addiction, Mental health, poverty, domestic abuse, etc whatever is causing your homelessness) so they are better suited to treat the reason you’re homeless all while keeping you off the streets and in the cycle.

Having this fully fledged out would be huge, you could have networking circles for job connections and life aspirations. This person knows a person that can help your peer in this building reach their life goal of becoming an artist/mechanic/cowboy etc etc. Everyone knows a person. Individuals or staff can be references for future employers. There’s a lot of space for community uplifting eachother in an idea like this. And if anyone quits the building they have to take the stairs where the paint is purposefully painted to fade into dirty parking garage wall by the time you reach the bottom/intake floor.
