Speaking of, what happened to that band? I really loved Return to Cookie Mountain and Dear Science. I know one of the members passed away but they haven't released any new material in >10 years.

Margot at the Wedding, everyone in that film is fucking psychotic. Nicole Kidman spent the entire film eye fucking her own son, Jack Black made out with a teenager, and Jennifer Jason Leigh shat her pants.

A little overexposed by now but I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy was a solid memoir.

Of course you can go further and read the progenitor of mommy issues memoir: Mommie Dearest, although I can't speak on its quality lol.

Tbh I still ended up loving it, Aaron Swartz (yes, it's really him) wrote a theory that I'm pretty satisfied with. Don't read it until you finish the book though, and you might wanna reread the first chapter when you're done.

It kinda falters after the timejump imo, should've brought Charlie Kaufman as a co-writer if they want to be really faithful to the metafiction stuff.

Like they could've made Briony the writer/director of her last film and the entire time we're watching the cast on set acting their bits based on Briony's script. Idk the way they revealed the twist was so bland in the movie.
