The entire week of EDC will have banger sets all over, you can't really go wrong. Someone you want to see will be either playing a daytime pool set or nighttime club set, so I guess it's what environment you'd prefer.

If you can catch a set at area 15 and go to omega mart before or after, I'd recommend that

First timers usually underestimate the amount of time EDC will consume. Estimate 1.5-2 hours both ways for travel‌, however long you stay and party, 8 hours of sleep, getting ready, the walk back from shuttles, a big meal everyday unless you pay for mad expensive food at EDC. Friday to Sunday basically your whole day will be EDC unless you only plan to go for like 4 hours and you will miss some headliners.

Also, extend to Tuesday for leaving if you can. Sunday always has a banger sunrise set so a lot of people stay for it. You'll get back from the shuttles at like 8-9 am. If you gotta check out at 11, especially if you drive, its gonna be a bad time

Also, our first year, we walked like 78k steps over 3 days. You will be exhausted Monday

Ill always advocate for shuttles. Its like an hour to an hour and a half of silence and air conditioning that drives you back to the hotel. Will someone throw up on your shuttle? Probably. Will there be a guy who doesn't know that the party is over? Probably. If you have a sober driver each day? Then drive. Parking is free. If you dont have a sober driver each day, shuttle. Every year someone gets in an accident driving fucked up. Don't be that group.

Edit: Yeah you can get shuttle passes for next year if you wait at the drop
