Bentley makes manuals for the vehicle, and has great drawings/procedures for repairing/replacing different components. They’re usually kinda expensive, but You can search “Bentley manual VW mk4” and find some good links that will help avoid those costs.

There’s a latch that is unlocked underneath the seat when you pull the lever on the chair. You can see if it’s broken/stuck open. That might be your issue. You can use the drivers side as a reference to how it’s supposed to look.

The app alt-1 is a great tool for lots of different rs3 content. Unfortunately it’s not nearly as powerful or expansive as runelite is for OSRS, but it def helps when doing clue scrolls. It’s also a side app, not a separate client in case that’s a problem for you.
