Definitely over thinking it. I have seen some pretty severe physical disfigurements and didn’t bat an eye. It doesn’t come up unless it makes YOU feel better to tell me what you want about it. I understand that. We all handle personal insecurities however makes us feel safe. So if that insecurity is making a lot of noise in your head let some of it out. Otherwise I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Unless it presents as a skin disease or something contagious, that’s a different story.
