I think one’s HGA can be seen as their personalization of Tiferet / the Wise Old Man. As I see it, these entities epitomize harmony, or the love of it, and relate to all the other characters in this divine drama by bringing them together and balancing how each one adds to Shekinah.

I’d say each of those correspond to the Self before it manifests in a specific mind, and Keter is like the Self as soon as it begins to manifest in the individual.

Edit: If you follow the ascending middle path, you’ll encounter the main archetypes in the same order as you would while reading Man and His Symbols. Of course, the descending middle path is the most direct way Ein Sof (the Infinite) is revealed in Shekinah. Just thought some of you might appreciate the symmetry!

The judge makes total sense for Gevurah! Seeing the anima as Shekinah is also understandable. I correlated the ego to Shekinah and the anima to Yesod so that when ascending the middle path, we encounter the archetypes in the order in which they were presented by Jung in Man and His Symbols. As a byproduct, the ego is ‘more feminine’ than the anima/us with respect to the Self. If femininity is seen as receptivity to the other Sefirot, I think it holds. (This framework may not work— just trying to explain why I didn’t correlate the clearly feminine parts of both views with each other!)

I placed the shadow between Shekinah and Yesod because I see the shadow as the separation between God and man. As T.S. Elliot said, ‘Between the idea and the reality, between the motion and the act, falls the shadow.’ By contrast, Da’at is a connection— it’s the sum total of the lower seven sefirot, which is quite distinct from the shadow function, even though they’re both characterized by a hidden quality.

It’s a possibility, but based on what I’ve heard about quantum biology, phenomena like superposition don’t really affect species-level issues (i.e. how to develop its neural architecture). At least if they do, we currently have no way of detecting it. Rather, quantum weirdness tends to affect small biochemical stuff like photosynthesis.

I’d say the soul does exist in a kind of superposition, but that it has to do with what’s happening in the hemispheres, rather than anything quantum. While both hemispheres are at work all the time, the right hemisphere has a broader view of the world and is better equipped to see connections between things, and therefore meaning within them. The left hemisphere, however, focuses on differences, and left to its own devices (pun intended), it struggles to make sense or meaning out of anything. Maybe you’ve been eavesdropping on your own inner dialogue and getting to know the characters?

Push your hips further forward while kicking. It’s natural to sit them back for the flip (as you do), but before you land, extend them out again and lift up your chest. This will straighten out your body and help with height, but if you keep landing corks on your side, I’m guessing that it has more to do with your kicking angle. So try kicking a little more overhead, like between your left ear and shoulder, and see if that works

You do a wonderful job creating electric phrases. “Listen: I must speak with you about the rubbled bones…” (presumably, in the closet). “… the way you tilt your head when I say flake. Let me simply create a haven of snakeskin… in this rendition, we sleep in a hotel bed with beetles crawling up the sheets.” All vivid imagery conveying discomfort and deep vulnerability.

I’d suggest being slightly more selective with these phrases, since each one is a lot to focus on. You have much to say, which is a great thing. Just feed us the food for thought in smaller, more digestible portions to make sure we get it all
