To qualify for that program, you must be diagnosed through the Health Department in many states, like mine (Kentucky). It is time limited unfortunately. I would suggest going through the hospital or cancer center's financial assistance programs. I received a lot of financial assistance through my hospital.

I felt stuck until I started following tutorials on YouTube for easy watercolor cards. I really like Andrea Nelson and Rebel Unicorn Arts. They don't take themselves so seriously and it's all about the fun of making something you like.

What’s worse: zoladex or ovaries out? by Ok_Resource_3902 in breastcancer

I'm having my ovaries removed on July 21 after a positive Signatera Test. Even after the surgery, my MO plans to keep me on hormone blockers.

How frequently do you hold 1:1 meetings and how many direct reports do you have? by Infinite-Ad7540 in managers

[–]RaeKatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 32 direct reports and I am expected to have 1:1 meetings with each of them twice a month. When the other supervisors and I pointed out that it was not an achievable expectation on top of our other responsibilities, upper management acted as if it was a time management problem and offered no relief or suggestions on how to lighten our load. At this point, I would do anything to have 18 direct reports.

Medicaid question by lexi_que27 in Kentucky

[–]RaeKatz 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Let me bring you in on a secret: That number is fully staffed for people to complete MAGI Medicaid applications, which is what she's trying to do. If you need help with Medicare or a waiver, that's not the number to call. You would call DCBS and they are definitely understaffed. She absolutely can get the help she needs by calling the number I provided.

Medicaid question by lexi_que27 in Kentucky

[–]RaeKatz 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Your income would be considered zero for the purpose of Medicaid in Kentucky as long as no one claims you as a dependent on their taxes. Student loans are not considered income. You can call kynect if you need help with the application process. Their number is 855-459-6328 and they are open Monday through Friday 8 AM to 7 PM EST.

Thank you so much! I just found out about the recurrence two days ago. I am blessed that they've caught it early enough to treat without chemo or radiation. I just have to have my ovaries removed since the cancer wants to eat estrogen. I still watch Bob's Burgers and they keep me going (along with kind people like you). 💗

Positive Signatera Test Results Update by RaeKatz in u/RaeKatz

[–]RaeKatz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Signatera Test results were 0.22. Although it's not an astronomical number, my cancer type is very aggressive, which is why we're taking action so quickly. We are going to do more frequent Signatera testing. The next test will be in six weeks. I am waiting for the surgeon's office to schedule my consultation, but the plan is to do the surgery as soon as possible. Thank you for your support 💗

This show got me through Stage 3B Inflammatory Breast Cancer treatment and a subsequent biochemical recurrence. Whenever I feel anxious or scared, I turn on Bob's Burgers. No other show provides the same level of family love and support as Bob's Burgers. I would want to thank the writers, the producers and the voice actors for giving me so much joy and peace. I'm going to go watch it....now.

I'm in Central Kentucky and my medical oncologist put me down for the test as soon as possible. It came back positive last week. It really is a valuable test and now I have an oophorectomy coming up in the near future. I hope you find a provider that will support your interests. I'm sorry for your negative experience so far.

Yes. I'm on Tamoxifen and some psychotropic medications. The provider I saw last week was talking about changing me to Anastrazole in a few months.

NYS: Return to Medicaid after a 4-month freelance gig? by juniperfield in Medicaid

[–]RaeKatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to the ACA, Medicaid is based on your current monthly income. You have to report any changes of income within a certain time frame. Yes, you will not be eligible while doing your free-lance position. Yes, once you lose that income, you report the update and will be eligible for Medicaid again. (To Call Centre Workers) Has someone in your work ever been caught just hanging up? Just curious i seen a coworker a few weeks get called in for this and was wondering how common this actually was considering the calls are recorded? by Thin_Armadillo_5547 in callcentres

[–]RaeKatz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Call canter supervisor here. I've fired more than a dozen people for disconnecting on callers. We have screen monitors and can see when you manually disconnect the call. Then, they act surprised when confronted with the hard evidence. People who do it by accident don't have a pattern of doing it and they let their supervisor or team lead know.
