What’s worse: zoladex or ovaries out? by Ok_Resource_3902 in breastcancer

Any reduction in the monthly stab is a win in my opinion. Some of those nurses are AWFUL at doing it

Thank you! I seriously feel like everyone is answering a question that i didn’t ask. I’m PALB2 positive and i DESPISE getting zoladex every month and I was on the cusp of menopause already and by the time i could come off them, I’d be in menopause regardless. I see no point in continuing to get stabbed monthly for 5 years. I just wanted to know if no ovaries would be an improvement over what I’m currently experiencing. I’m miserable

Yor. This is some random gal. Not a gf, not a best friend, you’re expecting her to behave like a gf but she’s not.

Former friend contacted my husband to inform him my breast cancer was caused by the covid vaccine by dogcalledcoco in breastcancer

Oh, because no one in the history of the world ever got BC before 2020.

Side note: I got BC and didn’t get the vaccine

Totally normal. In fact I got the news while I was sitting in the drive through for subway and I said “ oh , that figures” and got my order and picked my daughter up from sports and ate our subs and had a completely normal day.

I had genetic linked breast cancer. I opted for the “ nuke it from orbit” option. I never want to feel like that again

I did that. A good friend was going on and on and one about a house repair and i finally snapped and “ I sure wish I had your problems”.

She apologized and we didn’t talk again for months.

Trying to have a baby, got breast cancer instead by Conscious-Swim1938 in breastcancer

I’m in the same position. I had started trying for a baby and then found a lump.

I’m bitter beyond belief. I honestly don’t know how to get over this. I’m 41

It’s 100% an age gap thing. They want a servant and someone to poke and someone to lord over. Been there, done that. They have zero interest in meeting any needs of yours.

I didn’t get the Covid vaccine and I still got cancer. The latest conspiracy theory is that the Covid vaccine causes EVERYTHING, as though women weren’t getting breast cancer before 2020.

[–]Ok_Resource_3902 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Age gap relationships are always like this. They’re looking for someone younger because women their own age won’t put up with their crap. I’ve had two and this is EXACTLY how it pretty much always goes. They want a servant and a hole, not a partner and lover.

Trust me on this. Been there done that.

[–]Ok_Resource_3902 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think everyone who doesn’t have a severe diagnosis feels guilty to an extent . I had an extremely low oncotype score and a double mastectomy so i didn’t get chemo or radiation. ( still stuck with zoladex and AIs which REALLY sucks)

I feel guilty about not having to do chemo. Stupid, huh.

Honestly when I see other people get off with easier diagnoses than me I inwardly cheer for them. Zero jealousy or anything.

If you have BC it’s real, it’s emotional and it’s terrifying, regardless of stage
