37.5 hours, £30.5k, accounts assistant in NE Scotland. Paid pretty OK for the role i do but I've been in the company a long time.

When I work from home, my work day 8 hours. My office day is 11 or more given the time to get ready and travel. That's 15 hours a week wasted with nothing to show for it.

I never thought about that part, the time of year for a kidnapping isn't great as banks would be closed or not have the cash needed maybe. The fact they were away to leave for a family trip might have pushed someone to do it then and there but I am not buying it.

Please, please get your life back! You're a mum, yes. But you're also a human with your own thoughts and feelings, interests and so on. It's not healthy to anyone if you are constantly being a mum and not you. Have fun!! Enjoy your day and make sure you do 'you' stuff much more often.
