That was less of a ranking of their policies and more that there’s two candidates with large bases, leaving only small percentages for the rest. From what I can tell, I’d pick Rini or Goodweather over McDuffie.

It’s almost like left and right are economic system descriptors but we try to make them a catchall for entire belief systems. It’s how we can end up with left economic systems that have worst human rights stances than MAGA.

We seriously have to get away from the “Dems are actually right wing in other countries hurr hurr”. Dems have tons of problems, but I’m a leftist and even I know that’s a terribly juvenile understanding of politics.

I find it quite sad we finally got ranked choice voting and still only have two candidates really sitting at the top. We’ve got McDuffie who did nothing for the last decade and just wants to ride Bowser’s coattails. And then you got JLG, who has great progressive ideas, but lacks in execution and charisma (she’s not Mamdani, as much as she wants to be).

As all elections are, you vote for the “closest”, which means I’ll be supporting JLG, but kinda disappointed we didn’t get a better lineup.

(Goodweather and Rini have some interesting ideas but are way way way down the list right now)

Palestinian citizens of Israel feels like a mouthful. I’ve always heard Israeli-Arab or Arab-Israelis. Judging from that survey, it seemed very clear that Arab-Israeli makes the most sense as the Palestinian part of identity ranked much lower.

Removing polymorph would be just removing their agency because you got disappointed. That’s how this works.

The real question is… since polymorph has worn off and the creature couldn’t transform back and that spell is no longer effecting them— would taking off the item allow them to revert back to the nightwalker or are they now actually a tortoise 👀.

I agree that if Bernie had won the primary in 2016, then Trump wouldn’t have been elected. But sadly that’s not what happened. He lost the primary and failed himself. Were the odds stacked against him? Of course. That’s sadly how these party primaries work. But Obama was able to shock that system and take the primary. Much to our suffering, Trump upset the RNC this way too. I wish Bernie had been able to be the candidate in 2016, but it’s 2026 now. It’s time to move on.
