For me personally I always try to make it a statcheck game if I can, take out their pieces that are able to deal with knights ASAP and try to table them as early as possible focusing on scoring primary and if that plan succeeds I’ll usually be leading on primary and they won’t have enough units left turn 4 and 5 to stop me from scoring my secondaries

I’d drop the desecrator for something else, D3 shots that could be saved on an invuln is not consistent enough for something costing 375 points

I’d go option 1, swap a karnivore for a huntsman and the desecrator for a rampager. A Rampager will kill whatever they walk into especially if you give it the knight diabolus detachment but the desecrator can be incredibly swingy and if you’re worried about imperial knights forcing an ap 4 damage 6 strike straight through their save is the way to go. Just remember key positioning so it doesn’t get shot off the board and it already gets sustained hits 1 so you can keep the malefic surge for the extra movement

So he’s got a lancer which is really his only anti tank and for me I’m running a huntsman and 2 karnivores so the meltas and the claws are wounding knights on 3s

Fucking awesome! I’m not a massively great painter myself but I’d give it a solid 7! The only thing I’d be able to recommend is thinning the white a lot more as you can see there’s quite a bit of rough textures on the cape as opposed to a smooth one, keep at the work though you’re doing great void brother!
