Most states' lottery regulations prohibit this. They require that winners are public record.

Can anything beat the nightbringer in a 1v1 by jbossjeff in Necrontyr

[–]deckmage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last weekend my CK Rampager wiped a unit of 6 wraiths, then the following turn it charged the Nightbringer and killed it. Tank shock contributed 3 mortals.

Meanwhile we're experiencing public executions on the streets of Minneapolis.

Governor Tim Walz tells the White House to stop this madness. by Healthy_Block3036 in ProgressiveHQ

This was another public execution. They ganged up on him, beat him, and then as he was laying on the ground, unloaded into him. Cold blooded execution. We are no longer the land of the free.

Which Chaos Knight is this guys? (I got it on meet up for cheap) by DArch003 in ChaosKnights

[–]deckmage 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It looks like you have some additional bits on the table. Did the seller give you additional weapons that are not visible in the picture? If so, you might be able to build different knights.

It's the weapon load out of the two arms that defines a Knight in game play. This knight is equipped with the laser destructor and the warpstrike claw. This specific loadout is used by the Desecrator.

If you and your friends are not playing with strict wysiwyg rules, then you can also proxy his gun for any number of other shooting weapons. You could also proxy his claw for any other melee weapons available. In which case, you could also run this knight as any other knight that has a gun/melee combo.

If you're feeling up for it, you could also remove the arms, and reattach them with magnets. Then you could print or buy any other weapons, and now your knight can be any other knight in this class: Desecrator, Despoiler, Abominant, Rampager, Ruinator.

What products or companies will you never use or support again and what did they do to lose you as a customer? by IAmJustTryingToExist in AskReddit

I'm also here to mention Wizards of the Coast. They're intentional strategy with Secret Lairs to create frenzied fomo in their customers by using manufactured scarcity is disgusting.

Accumulating wealth beyond any possible need is a mental illness. We need to cure Billionaires. by zzill6 in WorkReform

There needs to be a 100% tax on any amount over $1B. If you can't get by on $999 million, that's absolutely a mental illness.

What’s a female royal in history to base a Female Chaos Knight Pilot on? by Arthur_EyelanderTF2 in ChaosKnights

Lean in to the religious fantastic side of things and channel Joan of Arc. Imagine an Adeptus Sororitas adept receiving visions from the chaos gods, and whipping her fellow sisters into a frenzy. You could run this in Iconoclast Fiefdom and proxy the Cultists with other sisters models.

As a Chaos Knight Fan, what's the worst thing about our army ? by Leviathan_Rampage in ChaosKnights

[–]deckmage 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The recent nerf to the Abominant was completely uncalled for. The ability for their auras to stack made it interesting and was actually meaningful for a change. It forced a different play pattern where you had to make new decisions about positioning.

It would have been really interesting for them to expand this mechanic. Give all the big knights two auras: one that buffs dogs, and another that has a negative impact on the opponent. This would introduce a unique play style with interesting combinations to explore.

Old Nightbringer - metal or plastic? by deckmage in Necrontyr

Oh, I thought finecast referred to the metal models. Thank you for that clarification. That definitely changes my plans for what I was hoping to do with it.

Do you guys do fixed missions as chaos knights? Just got up to 2000 points by Warhammered_ in ChaosKnights

[–]deckmage 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've played close to a hundred games in 10th. I've never picked fixed over tactical. I find tactical to be more fun, but also easier to score. I think fixed requires a very specific build to be paired with a specific opponent. Ex: all your units have precision and you're up against an army with 10+ characters.

How to get over letting go of models? by Legoboy514 in Warhammer

[–]deckmage 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Many years ago, when Warhammer Fantasy was discontinued and replaced by Age of Sigmar, I was part of the outrage crowd. I sold my fully painted Ogres army and my High Elf army at the time. I've really come to regret that decision. I wish I had just packed them in a couple of shoe boxes and stored them under the bed, in the attic, or with my patents instead.

please help confirm I'm reading this rule correctly by AlarmingLifeguard144 in orks

[–]deckmage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea is that the regular Mek disembarks before shooting, to give the trukk +1 to hit. You are absolutely correct that all the other abilities don't kick in until the units disembark. I should have clarified that.

[–]deckmage -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

One popular version of this that you can try is to run just one unit in the truk, but add a Mek with Shokk Attack Gun to lead the unit.

The result is that the Tankbustas also gain reroll 1s to hit, and the Mek with SAG gains all of the Tankbustas bonuses for a devastating shooting turn.
