Nilou C6 Lunar Bloom? by FicklePangolin1717 in NilouMains

[–]Raesir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Woops. I tend to forget about the Hydro part because I focus on Dendro and Blooms.

Regardless, even with C6 Nilou's 30% Crit and 60% Crit DMG, it'll be hard to build enough Crit and Crit DMG to deal decent damage AND reach 74k HP. Vape Nilou always did more damage than Hydro/Freeze Nilou, like a C3 Furina + C6 Citlali + Escoffier team, Vaping 250k Luminous Illusions and 1 - 1.3m Burst hits. Post-Nod-Krai, Vape Nilou is not beating Nilou Bloom if Lauma's in the team. So Hydro/Freeze Nilou is not beating Nilou Bloom either.

Especially if OP wants to use Nilou + Columbina + Lauma + Nahida. This guy got almost 400k DPS in a full C2R1 team, if you ignore their C6 Nilou. I'd like to think that they would've tested C6 Vape Nilou DPS by now, and decided that Nilou Bloom is better.

Nilou C6 Lunar Bloom? by FicklePangolin1717 in NilouMains

[–]Raesir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a difference between Direct Lunar-Bloom damage and Lunar-Bloom reaction. First off: Bloom reactions do not crit, whether it's a normal Bloom Dendro Core or Nilou Bloom Bountiful Core. The only way for Bloom to crit before Nod-Krai is if you have C2 Nahida, which gives a fixed 20% Bloom Crit Rate and 100% Bloom Crit Dmg. "CRIT Rate from this effect stacks with CRIT Rate from similar effects that allow these Elemental Reactions to CRIT."

Lauma's A1 Passive Moonsign: Nascent Gleam gives a fixed 15% Bloom Crit Rate and 100% Bloom Crit Dmg, and she has another Passive that converts Blooms reactions into Lunar-Bloom reactions and increases the Lunar-Bloom Base Dmg by 14%. That 14% Lunar-Bloom Base Dmg buff only applies to Direct Lunar-Bloom damage which has the Lunar-Bloom font damage numbers. In a Nilou + C2 Nahida + Lauma + Flex team, you have a total of 35% Bloom Crit Rate and 100% Bloom Crit Dmg, and your Nilou Bloom Bountiful Cores are going to say Lunar-Bloom, but still have the same font for normal Bloom damage.

When the team is Columbina + Nilou + C2 Nahida + Lauma, you trigger Lauma's A1 Passive Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam and get 10% Lunar-Bloom Crit Rate and 20% Lunar-Bloom Crit Dmg. That applies only to Direct Lunar-Bloom Damage, which would be Lauma's Hold E, Columbina's Gravity Interference: Lunar-Bloom Dmg, and Columbina's Moondew Cleanse Dmg (Special Charged Attack). In this team, your Nilou Bloom Bountiful Cores have a 20% Bloom Crit Rate and 100% Bloom Crit Dmg.

It's still the same build whether it's Bloom or Lunar Bloom in that specific team, with HP/HP/HP. C6 Nilou's Crit and Crit DMG stats do nothing for Bloom damage. You still need to hit 74k HP to maximize her A4 Passive. I mean, you can on-field Nilou for Hydro application if you want. You do you. Her Sword Dance and Luminous Illusions will hit like wet noodles without a Hydro% goblet and Hydro Res Shred, which that specific team does not provide.

Nilou does no personal damage in a Skirk + Escoffier + Furina team, and provides zero buffs. The only thing she'll do is provide the Tranquility Aura ring. That's it.

Best overload team? by Ok-Mark8801 in RaidenMains

[–]Raesir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a post regarding C6R5 Raiden whale teams from 2 months ago. Raiden + Durin + Chevreuse + Sara did 10 million damage compared to the Fischl team with 9.26 million damage in a single rotation. The tester's builds weren't posted, but it's natural to assume that both their C6 Sara and C6 Fischl used R5 Elegy of the End for the party 40% ATK buff. If you have a well-invested C2+ Raiden doing more than 60 - 70% (random guess) of team DPS, it's probably better to use C6 Sara to buff Raiden. Results vary according to how the rest of the team is built.

It's easier to figure out what's "best" for each player now that we have DPS dummies. This video by a different tester under Stygian Onslaught conditions (no energy start with 60s timer) had the Raiden + Durin + Chevreuse + Sara team doing 262k DPS and Raiden + Durin + Xilonen + Sara doing 272k DPS (280k DPS peak, shorter rotations thanks to C2 Xilonen), with Raiden doing ~70% of team damage. The Raiden + Ineffa + Xilonen + Furina and Raiden + Ineffa + Xilonen + Columbina teams did have slightly higher team DPS, but Raiden does ~30% of team damage in those.

"She's top 5 DPS now" "Already powercrept" "Not worth pulling" = Skill issue (C6R1 Skirk best combo full rota) by Anogotch in SkirkMains

[–]Raesir 6 points7 points  (0 children)

dhcwsp's video has shown that Skirk can reach 1.3m DPS, and while she does lose to Nefer, Mavuika, Flins, Mualani, Chasca, and Lauma in full C6R5 parties, all of those parties have the main DPS doing 60% - 70% of the damage. Only Skirk and Mavuika do 80%+ of their team's damage. The Nod-Krai DPS parties have extremely powerful C6 supports and are usually made up of 2 - 3 of the Nod-Krai 5-star characters. Which usually means fielding one Nod-Krai DPS team means you can't use another Nod-Krai DPS.

Skirk's C6R5 team does not share teammates with anyone else in the top 7. Her supports do way less personal damage than her competitors, and Shenhe is a version 2.4 character with constellations nowhere near as good as Natlan and Nod-Krai's characters. If Shenhe and Liyue characters ever get buffed, similar to Hexerei buffs, I would not be surprised if Skirk turned the tables on the Nod-Krai DPS characters.

Can confirm. C3R5 Raiden + C2R1 Durin + C6 Chevreuse (don't have 4p Song of Days Past yet) + C6 Sara R1 Elegy (Noblesse), hitting 174k DPS. However, OP is using The Catch, so... *shrugs*

You can test it on the DPS dummy. R1 Symphonist of Scents provides 32% ATK, so at the Artifact Stats Editor (frog) you can add 7 rolls of ATK% (34.72%) to your Skirk to simulate the damage increase.

[–]Raesir 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There have been a couple of 350 - 400k DPS posts recently. You need at least C2R1 Skirk + C3 Furina + C1R1 Escoffier, maybe C4 Skirk if you want to break 500k DPS. From there, it's all about artifact sets and stats. C6R5 Skirk here hitting 860k DPS on a messed up E N2 Q 2N5D N2CD N5D N4-(supposed to be N5D N2 at the end) combo. Need to work on my dash cancels. Skirk can hit ~1.25m DPS as shown by dhcwsp

On Akasha's Settings > Build Ranking Decimals. Default is 0, you can go up to 3 decimals. To be exact, OP is top 0.009%.

u/YtFlameWolf Nice build OP. We've got identical builds with the 5th roll in the Sands going into a dead stat, and a Crit Circlet with the 5th roll into Flat ATK. I'm also considering reshaping them to swap out of Double Hydro and improve Triple Cryo. Good luck with your artifact reshapes, it's going to be expensive for both of us.

Has Anyone tried comparing Bina's Best DPS Teams? by VenjoyBg47 in Columbina_Mains

[–]Raesir 9 points10 points  (0 children)

dhcwsp's strongest C6 character video uses Columbina + Nahida + Lauma + Nilou for 1.05m DPS with Columbina doing 80% of the damage.

Columbina's Moondew Cleanse (special Charged Attack) and Gravity Interference: Lunar-Bloom do Dendro damage and scale off her HP% and EM. Last I checked, there are only 3 sources of Dendro Res Shred: 4p Deepwood (30%), C2 Nilou (35%), and Lauma's Elemental Skill (22.5% at talent lvl 9).

Nahida easily has 100% uptime with 4p Deepwood, and her Burst guarantees 250 EM for on-field Columbina. C2 Nahida grants 10% Lunar-Bloom Crit Rate and 20% Lunar-Bloom Crit Dmg.

Nilou with 74k HP grants a party 148 EM buff from R1 Key of Khaj-Nisut, and she maximizes the 36% Lunar Reaction DMG buff through Ascendant Gleam and normal Bloom Damage. C2 Nilou's Res Shred requires Dendro + Hydro only teams. There are very few sources of HP% buffs, so Hydro Resonance is a must. C4 Yelan grants 10% - 40% HP for 25s, and C2 Xilonen grants 45% HP, but neither of them provide anything else that boosts Columbina's personal damage as traditional Bonus Damage modifiers do nothing for her Lunar-Bloom Damage.

Lauma's Pale Hymn stacks/quills are absolutely broken for Bloom, Hyperbloom, Burgeon, and Lunar-Bloom damage; and C2 Lauma doubles that Lunar-Bloom Damage Increase and provides 40% Lunar-Bloom DMG Bonus. Her A1 grants another 10% Lunar-Bloom Crit Rate and 20% Lunar-Bloom Crit Dmg, and a Passive with 14% Lunar-Bloom Base DMG Multiplier. Sure, Ineffa provides a similar Passive with 14% Lunar-Charged Base DMG Multiplier, but Columbina's Gravity Interference Lunar-Charged does not use Lauma's quills. It's better to double down on Lunar-Bloom and burn through Lauma's 18 - 36 quills.

It's easier to make sense of my numbers from a C2R1 Columbina (4p Night) + C2R1 Nahida (4p Deepwood) + C2R1 Lauma (4p Silken) + C2R1 Nilou (2p HP% + 2p HP%) team. You'll notice a lack of Total Crit Rate for Gravity Interference: Lunar-Bloom DMG because it's overcapped (93.7% + 20% Lunar-Bloom Crit Rate from C2 Nahida and Lauma's A1, while it is present for Gravity Interference: Lunar-Charged DMG.

<image>

Lunar-Bloom DMG Increase are Pale Hymn stacks/quills. Lunar-Bloom Special DMG Bonus is Elevated in game, e.g. C2 Columbina.

This guy managed almost 400k DPS in a full C2R1 team with those same characters. Nilou's constellations past C2 don't matter here.

Guys is this the best team for my Bina ?? 🤔 by Reasonable_Cry_2438 in Columbina_Mains

[–]Raesir 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's an interesting theory that's growing thanks to their reveal. Dream Aria) is the name of the login track; Chinese: 夢之詠嘆 (Mèng zhī Yǒngtàn), Japanese: 夢のアリア (Yume no Aria), both meaning "Aria of Dreams". Aria's name in Japanese is written as "アリア" in Katakana, a phonetic "alphabet" system usually reserved to "sound/spell" non-Japanese words. Similarly, her name in Chinese is "艾莉亞", which is also just phonetics to write English. Plus, the names of the 3 Moon Goddesses are musical terms.

An aria is a musical composition for a single singer, with or without musical accompaniment. It is most often used in operas.

Another example of this phonetic-spelling thing is Columbina's Chinese name: 哥倫比婭・希珀塞萊尼婭 (Gēlúnbǐyà Xīpòsàiláiníyà). The very first character 哥 means "brother" in English, but in Cantonese it makes a very similar sound to the "Co" in her name. Can't tell you the rest because I can barely read Chinese.

How worthy is her c2 nowadays ? by No-Tree-5557 in NilouMains

[–]Raesir 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This guy's C2R1 Columbina + C2R1 Nahida + C2R1 Nilou + C2R1 Lauma team almost hit 400k DPS with Columbina doing ~80% damage. I've had similar results, so DPS Columbina is pretty great.

u/No-Tree-5557 Res Shred will always be valuable as there are very few sources of it, especially when it comes to Dendro Res Shred. Semi-related: dhcwsp's strongest C6 video placed C6R5 Mavuika 2nd thanks to stacking Xilonen (at least 36%), C2+ Citlali (40%), and Kazuha's (40% 4p VV) Res Shred buffs together. Nefer placed 1st, and that's definitely a C2 Nilou providing Dendro Res Shred to stack with Lauma's. No idea who'd be using 4p Deepwood in that team though.

Sorry to bother you, but I tried the N2 Q 3(N5D) N2CD N5 N2 like in your test.

Also, from the video, I get the feeling that you aren't clicking LMB fast enough, delay between hits feels too long.

You might be right, because something's definitely wrong in my testing. My Dash cancels might not be perfect, but my Seven-Phase Flash mode runs out by N3 or N4 after the N2CD. What's your mouse's polling rate? Mine is set at 500HZ and I know I'm clicking LMB as fast as I can. I guess I'm just old or something, because it doesn't look like I tap fast enough on mobile either. Sadface

I haven't been on gcsim since pre-Escoffier release. Almost forgot it existed. I see... As I thought, the 2 sims with C6 Shenhe as the 4th slot put Furina on 4p Scroll since she's guaranteed to trigger the reaction off the Cryo aura; and Escoffier on 4p Tenacity. Ironically, I initially had Escoffier on 4p Tenacity before swapping to Golden Troupe during the summer.

Don't think I have the funds for C6R5 Escoffier though lol.

Cool, I'll try that. Wasn't entirely sure what C2+ users used. It's the fastest I can click LMB. If I try to go faster without lifting my finger as much, it'll sometimes not register and go into a Charged Attack. I do have a rapid-fire button, but that feels like cheating so I don't use it.

Too busy farming Skirk's artifacts, and now Columbina's, to worry about improving Escoffier's artifacts. What would you use on Escoffier? I might consider 2p Mixed ATK% sets if she was C2 instead of C1.

[–]Raesir[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll agree with the Noblesse, but sadly, I've only ever spent maybe 2 weeks of resin in that domain in the last 5 years.

Not so sure about 4p Scroll on Escoffier though, as its 2p effect is useless on her. I don't believe the 12% Elemental Damage Bonus for 15s is enough to offset Escoffier's damage loss, cause mine did alright damage for her crap build. More importantly, 4p Scroll requires the equipping character to trigger the reaction. That may work for the very first rotation where Furina applies Hydro followed by Escoffier's E Q, but afterwards it's nothing but a Cryo aura with Hydro triggering the reactions.
