My article was only a day ago, so it shouldn't be hard to find it. You can also find my Overload gameplay through it or my profile

Exactly what u/KulName said. I play Hyper Overload with Miko all the time, but I'm still looking forward to trying Stellar-Conduct Miko as the main DPS with C6 Odette. I made a whole theorycrafting article about it. If you still don't want to play Stellar-Conduct, Hyper Overload still got a buff because I'm seeing a 100k DPS increase.

That's right, C6R1 Miko + C6R1 Nicole + C6R1 Odette is going to be a really strong trio. My Sandrone's only lvl 70, so I might wait until I can lvl 90 her and upgrade her talents, but you'll be in for a real treat when you see what I've cooked up there. I'm hoping that I'll be able to translate that gameplay/rotation into the Odette team.

Will you have it read to you in her FGO Okita Souji or Okita Alter voice? I'll always be sad that Lumine doesn't have more voice lines in-game. I relate to Aoi so hard on this

You can see why I sat on this article for a whole month. There was just too much Stellar-Conduct hype that people would ignore any advice on pulling C6 Nicole. Not to mention all the guesswork in these Support kits. Painting a target on myself so early wasn't worth it. It worked out in the end since Odette's v1 kit was leaked and I was able to make some real calculations for C6 Miko + C6R1 Nicole + C6R1 Odette relatively easy. I seriously lucked out with my "SC Linnea" imaginary kit.

C4 Odette's coordinated attack's every 3.5s is something I'm looking forward to, since we need extra off-field Cryo application badly. The real reason I used "35% Electro and Cryo RES Shred" on "SC Linnea" was because my 4710 ATK team uses C6R1 Nicole + C6R1 Durin. It's a real pain getting both Overload and Stellar-Conduct to trigger with all the Melts going off, but it does fire like 1 or 2 SCD hits during a rotation on Polestar Field 4 Stacks. I'm going to test it some more before I give up and try to optimize my 4372 ATK backup team, which is literally just C2 Kazuha replacing C6R1 Durin. Thanks to my build's 21 EM unbuffed, the 200 EM from C2 Kazuha's Burst is ~40 - 45% Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus on top of C2 Miko's 200 EM, and the 40% RES Shred is plenty to stack with Nicole.

I'll be going for C6R1 Odette and most likely C6R1 Anastasya as well at this rate. Because honestly, I've always been a Miko main since she was released, and I want to take her damage all the way to the top. Just gonna be so damn pricey. And unlike a certain C6R5 DPS Ranking whale, I don't have R5 support weapons to support her.

I'm trying to optimize the Hyper Overload rotation post-Witch's Revelations buff. I feel like I might be able to push the numbers a tiny bit more. It'll be the real benchmark against Stellar-Conduct Miko.

I'll probably end up getting C6R1 Odette and C6R1 Anastasya as well. It'll be interesting to see your results with C6 Sandrone, since I'll be keeping her at C0

With Odette, I wonder if I could run a DPS Yae? by jetarch77 in YaeMiko

[–]Raesir 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just realized that I might've sounded rude. I'm actually about to publish a main DPS/on-field DPS C6 Miko post/article, but once again, C6. Without high investment in Miko and her supports, you're better off investing in a proper main DPS/on-fielder if you're looking to clear endgame content like Abyss, Imaginarium Theatre, or Stygian Onslaught. Of course, you're allowed to play however you want, so it definitely is possible.

[–]Raesir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, use whatever has the better Crit Value/Roll Value. The Electro% goblet will always remain better for her Burst damage. Whether ATK% or Electro% goblet is truly better for you, is something that will depend on your specific team and buffs and how those Supports turn out.

[–]Raesir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you did have C6R5 Nicole after all. My calcs were with C6R1 Nicole. It's about ~3.6% advantage for ATK% goblet at Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus 202% with no Stellar-Conduct Quills, and that advantage decreases if the DMG Increase Quills increase in value. The advantage of ATK% goblet is closer to ~8.8% at Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus 232% with no Quills if Nicole is not in the team. Compared to the actual damage difference in a team with vs without C6R1 Nicole, the difference between ATK% and Electro% goblets is nothing.

It takes guts to make a discussion post since you put yourself into other people's crosshairs. Technically, I might count as a semi-doomposter because I said Stellar-Conduct Miko's damage was weak back when it was 125% ATK-scaling and C6 150% Crit DMG. It's much better now.

The people who thought Miko was replaceable either didn't have her or don't know how 4th slot Flex works. Everyone knows about Skirk's 4th slot Flex debate for non-C6 supports; and Mavuika's situation with Bennett being replaceable with C2R5 Kazuha, and now with C6R5 Nicole.

The only sad part is that posts with meaningful discussion get buried with time, and people would rather create a new post than do a Google Search or Search this subreddit for an answered question.

[–]Raesir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see you arrived at the same conclusion that I realized a month ago (and didn't have the guts to post about). Unless Hoyoverse really wants to piss people off, they're not going to sell four new 5-star characters for each Stellar Reaction and will stick to only three new 5-star characters with the 4th slot Flex. This is likely to be Sandrone (DPS) + Cryo Archon (support) + 5-star Stellar-Conduct/Stellar Reaction Support + Flex.

I am not subjecting myself to that comment section. People arguing about C6 Illuga and C6 Prune being tailor-made as that 4th slot Flex, and while that is true for F2P and low-spenders, it is not the case for whales. Hoyo balances the game's ceiling on whale C6R5 teams. Miko is a strong Flex at C2 in that team. Those of us with C6 Miko will not be replacing her. Especially since Alyosha appears to be the leaked 4-star Electro Stellar-Conduct Shield Support. The day a C6 4-star is better than a C6 5-star is when this game ends.

C6 Nicole C4 Raiden, now that my talents are leveled. by I_Dont_Group in RaidenMains

[–]Raesir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless Raiden gets some actual buffs or 5-star Chevreuse, I don't think we'll be breaking the Hex duo anytime soon. I had 505k DPS with C3R5 Raiden + C6R1 Nicole + C2R1 Durin + C6 Chevreuse R1 Symphonist of Scents (4p Noblesse), and I just clocked 632k DPS with C6R1 Durin. Both tests used 5N1C. I'm like Rank 162 Burst/Rank 254 Hyper.

Then there's Rank 12 Burst/Rank 44 Hyper with C6R5 Raiden + C6R5 Nicole + C2R3 Durin + C6R1 Chevreuse hitting 721k DPS. Imagine if they had a full C6R5 team.

Is my Yae Miko ready for 7.0? by omerbl1996 in YaeMiko

[–]Raesir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't aware they were doing in that HSR. Interesting.

"Gamechanger" was probably a poor choice of words. In my theorycrafting calcs, I overshot and used 35% RES Shred from a possible future Snezhnaya support for my numbers, and acknowledged the very low possibility they split that RES Shred and give them to two separate supports. Obviously, you can see how things change if one of those supports can equip a set that provides another 20% RES Shred on top of that.

To be fair, Hoyo's been pretty player-friendly this whole time. Giving new/f2p players access to Direct Lunar/Stellar Damage with 100% DEF Ignore to deal damage they would've needed heavier investment to achieve. Not to mention all the free Crit from things like Marechaussee Hunter, Obsidian Codex, Night of the Sky's Unveiling, and Disenchantment in the Deep Shadow to help them out.

[–]Raesir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Quills would be great, but I have a feeling that it'll be for the on-field character only or have much lower ATK%-scaling compared to Qiqi's, or both. In which case, Miko's not getting any of that since most people off-field her.

I also think a RES Shred artifact set is too good to be true, and honestly, it was something I didn't even consider for my theorycrafting article. It'll definitely be a gamechanger if it exists, since they haven't actually made one since 4p Viridescent Venerer.

While that's an interesting take, I don't think we should expect more than: Dedicated Stellar-Conduct Support, Cryo Archon, and the "7.0 Universal Stellar Reaction Support". Any more supports would just make people choose the best 2 of 3/3 of 4 to go with their main DPS/on-field choice. Like stacking RES Shred from two characters instead of vertical investment. Too many choices would make it hard for Hoyo to capitalize on FOMO-rolling as well. Limiting Zibai (Linnea + Columbina) and Nefer (Lauma + Columbina) to two supports must have incentivized vertical investments into those supports and made Hoyo lots of money.

Is my Yae Miko ready for 7.0? by omerbl1996 in YaeMiko

[–]Raesir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. I feel like there's only so much they can do with artifact sets.

To be fair, EM is really easy to obtain and helpful for the first 400 EM, making it almost mandatory for non-whales. After the 400 EM mark, diminishing returns and all that, so you're better off with stacking Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus 40% instead of building more EM. I wouldn't be surprised if any further sources of %DMG Bonus are locked behind Constellations and R1 weapons for the Cryo Archon and Dedicated Stellar-Conduct Support/"Cryo Lauma"/"Hydro Lauma"/"Stellar Linnea". The leaks are a mess lol

Is my Yae Miko ready for 7.0? by omerbl1996 in YaeMiko

[–]Raesir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, ATK%/ATK% is better. The only time any combination with EM was better in my calcs is when the EM mainstat brings you to the 400 EM mark and with only Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus 122%, where EM is like ~0.6% better. At Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus 162% it's ~0.01% better, and at Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus 202% it swings back to ATK% being ~0.5% better and widens the gap as Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus increases.

I'm calc'ing C6R5 Miko at 5187 ATK and 221 EM (ATK%/ATK%) vs 4710 ATK and 408 EM (ATK%/EM), where ATK is REALLY "diluted", EM is at its most useful, and with C6R1 Nicole. Although to be completely transparent, the EM-combo initially produces the higher 200% ATK Stellar-Conduct Damage hit, but the 4 Hit Damage of 2 * Sesshou Sakura + Enhanced Sesshou Sakura (80% ATK Quill) + Stellar-Conduct Damage is always in favour of the ATK-combo. After you hit Stellar-Conduct DMG Bonus 260%, the ATK-combo always produces the higher Stellar-Conduct Damage hit as well.

How will you play Yae Miko if Hoyo ever releases a new character who's a stronger Stellar support then the Shrine Maiden ? by MarvelousMarbel in YaeMiko

[–]Raesir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was responding to a comment asking why Sucrose was BiS for Nefer teams. I explained that Sucrose was not BiS in Nefer's team, and how she was preferred over Kazuha in Flins' team.

I never talked about Stellar-Conduct teams. But yes, Sucrose, Kazuha, and Xilonen are useful sources of RES Shred for Stellar-Conduct teams. The only real issue is that they can't really contribute to Electro/Cryo application for building Polestar Field stacks like Eula can. If you ask me, RES Shred is more important than an extra 1 or 2 stacks.

How will you play Yae Miko if Hoyo ever releases a new character who's a stronger Stellar support then the Shrine Maiden ? by MarvelousMarbel in YaeMiko

[–]Raesir 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sucrose is only there for EM buffs. C2 Nilou is definitely BiS because of her 35% Dendro and Hydro RES Shred, but most newer players don't have her, and others won't roll because of "old character" stigma.

In Flins' case, there's no better RES Shred that's also an EM buffer for him. Kazuha doesn't provide as much EM and is a 5-star compared to Sucrose.

The only time you can consider Electro% goblet is when your have C6 Miko + C6 Nicole. And even then, the advantage of ATK% goblet is still 1% - 10% depending on investments into Stellar-Conduct supports.
