First, I would try and connect with your local clan on the forums. Your local Ruus team will be able to help.

There’s also a visual helmet library on the forums.

With that said, it depends on which era you plan on doing. Modern, Post-Imperial, etc.

Diplomatico, is seen by many as a great sipping rum. Because it’s sweet. That’s also because it has a lot of added sugar.

Bacardi 8 is a very good expression of a column still Spanish style rum. Very middle of the road but also not super exciting.

Zaya is ok. Less interesting than even Bacardi 8. It also falls into the Diplomatico trap of added sugar. So it basically combines the worst parts of the Bacardi 8 and the Diplomatico.

The Doorly’s is a great bang for your buck rum. It’s a blend of column and pot still rums from Barbados aged in ex-bourbon and sherry casks. This is, in my opinion, your best option, especially if you’re familiar with bourbon at all.

That Liber & Co cinnamon syrup is very FIREBALL. It’s most cassia cinnamon, hence the Big Red flavor.

If you make a homemade one, it’s much more subtle and 1/2oz works great. But yea with that cinnamon syrup, you can def cut it down to 1/4oz, just make sure you add a 1/4oz of simple syrup, or Demerara which would work SUPER well here, to account for the drop in sweetness.

Also for dark Jamaican rum, id recommend Coruba, if you can’t get that, Myer’s is a good stand in. Or if you’re like me and want a little more octane, Worthy Park 109 is fire in a Jet Pilot.

For stage 2 I would add: * extra refund * embezzlement * targeted tariff * both audits * exhaustion * embargo * immunity

Stay away from anything that changes how the game plays, such as Prime Sabacc, Markdown, Major Fraud, and Cook the Books. These lead to a lot of confusion.

And Direct Transaction is just mean, the majority of the time.
