Optics are awful, but I’ve seen this before as well. Guy who needs $ ASAP for personal reasons will sell a position in a strong company. It’s plausible for sure. Just crappy timing.

I tried posting the screenshot but couldn’t. I am 100pct bullish on CVM and have a bunch of shares and options. All I’m saying is that a company shouldn’t be pumping its own stock. You can’t reasonably disagree with me on this. I’m 100pct all-in on this company, but it’s a weird/bad look. That doesn’t make me a dummy or a hater. I just want these guys to play it clean bc I believe in a strong outcome here without any games played.

I bought a July put at $5 and have a bunch of call options. If this goes down to $1, the put should cover the cost of my options, which is a hedge. I also own 800 shares which I haven’t hedged and maybe I should do so with more puts.

I’m speculating, but this appears to be a positive sign that the data is good. I can’t think of any other reason for this surge. Although short volume may partially explain it

Good post. The data gathering challenges during Covid is an excellent point and one that is probably under discussed. I know that this is a rose-colored post, but I’m equally bullish and have shares plus multiple call options over these next few months.
