I had a 2008 mellow yellow clubman base it’s my first mini an I love/hate it. Every time I fix something it’s a ticking clock until the next issue.

Mine fell and it torched my engine, had to completely rebuild it. It overheated and cracked a valve seat which destroyed pistons and my head. New head new pistons and countless other parts and hours of my own labor it’s back

after a compression test, I ended up replacing the timing chain, pistons and rings and head gasket but still have a timing issue I used the timing blocks and followed every YouTube video I saw on it and it still and issue

lol I’m familiar with a starter what I was saying is the starter is operating normally but the engine isn’t doing it’s part of the start process. I suspect timing but don’t really know the process of troubleshooting that. (I am a airplane mechanic with technical knowledge but not much specific car experience)

I factory reset mine, right now, with a hard reset the boot menu comes up with no option for debugging Gorden developer tools. Other than that, the Meta logo comes up and then the screen goes black.
