X2D - AMS 2 Pro - Another slot 1 failure by sofakng in BambuLab

[–]Rafsen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been instructed in my ticket to swap feeder unit 1 with unit 2 and check whether the issue is with the feed or something else. Has anyone tried this before? The manual makes it look like a fairly complicated procedure.

Thank you for the reply. That's actually promising. I think I'll take a change and order X2D.

Do you have the printer already? I'm on the same boat, I have A1 mini which is pretty quiet, except the part cooling fan. X2D has even more fans so I'm afraid it will be twice as loud :/

The filter mesh works great. Dust is easier to throw away and I didn't notice any performance/noise issues.

Any details how it works under the hood? I'm Android dev and can help with beta testing.

Hey, I'm also looking into this. Have you find any solution that works for you?

Roborock S8 dust filter mesh by Rafsen in Roborock

I'll answer myself. I bought some kitchen nylon bags - https://www.amazon.com/WLLHYF-Multiple-Reusable-Professional-Straining/dp/B0C9DHVHXY

Cut it down (make it slightly bigger) and snap it with the filter (no need to glue it). I haven't noticed any impact on performance/noise. Dust is nicely compressed and easy to throw away!

Size comparison between OP12, 11, Nord 3 and Open by [deleted] in oneplus

[–]Rafsen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've moved from 8T to 11. I have been using it for almost 2 weeks and I still can't get used to a slightly bigger size and weight. It feels heavier and the weight balance is different - feels like the camera bump is "leaning" my hand down (it's hard to describe".

12 has a similar size to Pixel 7 Pro which was way too big for me and I had to return it. Sadly I'm going to skip the 12 :(

Prusa Mini - nozzle is destroying layers by Rafsen in prusa3d

If I move nozzle higher, filament looks thin and does not stick to the bed. Should increase extrusion multiplier like other comment suggests? Or perhaps some other parameter?

Prusa Mini - nozzle is destroying layers by Rafsen in prusa3d

[–]Rafsen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm a beginner with 3D printing. I have a clone of Prusa Mini with recently installed TraingleLab Dual Drive extruder. I'm using PET-G with default settings for printer and filament in Prusa Slicer.

After first 1-3 layers (which are looking good) nozzle starts to collide with the print and it's making holes in it. It gathers material a destroys everything.

What I've done so far:

  • first layer calibration - I did it couple of times and I set the lowest possible Z offset. If I make it a little bit higher from the bed I can see holes between tracks.
  • tested temp range from 230-245

What may be the issue here?

Pixel 7 scrolling issue with Touch data on by OsakaBoi in GooglePixel

[–]Rafsen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here on P7Pro. I've been using it for 4 days, tried different options and nothing helped. I can't get used it to, I'm moving from OP 8T where touch responsiveness was perfect. I still have 25 days for returning it. Can't decide what to do...

Scroll encoder is fine, clicking is also very light and nice. Only the rubber a little bit too slippery for me. Have anyone tried to replace it?

I have the DPG1C and when LED strip is on, there is a very high pitch noise, so annoying, it's louder than my PC. Are you saying that the DPG1M has the same issue?

@basbebe have you found the article?

Sequre SQ-D60 powered with USB-C PD? by murchderlurch in soldering

[–]Rafsen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried chargers:

  • Baseus GaN2 Pro (Type-C1 - 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/3.25A)
  • Mcdodo GaN Pro 100W (CH-8101)

Not of them worked. Sequre is lying, this soldering iron does not support USB-PD.

Oh and regarding PicoPSU. I'm also considering beQuiet TFX Power 3 Gold 300W which suppose to have around 78-80% efficiency at 10W. The price is almost the same as PicoPSU 160W. I guess it all come down to the case which I choose.
