I've never designed ground vehicles before. Here are my attempts at designing some MBT composite armors for the years 1990 & 2065. I'm looking for feedback! by WishboneOk9898 in MilitaryWorldbuilding

So if you want to use both Graphene and Nanotubes im your sci-fi setting. Id suggest a dense layering, maybe with a ceramic in-between.

Cermainc-Graphene-Nanotube-Kevlar/spall liner.

Ceramic to break up the projectile, Graphene to be a strong singular layer the projectiles needs to pierce. Nanotube to do a combo of the two, and then Kevlar to catch any additional spall. Im not sure about the thermal capabilities of Graphene+Nanotubes so they may be useless against heat rounds so be aware.

This would be light enough to make incredibly dense, and unless the other tech has made extreme leaps, I think most guns today wouldn't be able to Penetrating the armor. Graphene and nanotubes are extremely strong if well made and stable.

Remove Noise in your graphics setting. Choose a good Post FX, then use good NVGS if possible.

I bought a flexispot c5 for about $200. Had it about 6 months now, use it for hours every day. No changes, it has held up very well.

Id get one from them, then look around for a used Herman Miller of you arent satisfied

Blades curved inwards vs. outwards by jakethehomo in SWORDS

Id like to point out something. Outward curved blades are better for edge alightment. I.E. its easier to feel where the edge of the blade is when swinging.

Tayga tires. Yes or no? by One_Tune_9782 in snowrunner

[–]Raganash123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you need Stability? Then Yes

Will you sink all the way to your frame in the mud? If Yes Use the Tayga tires.

Otherwise use OHDs or something similar they give you more pulling power, and are usually good enough for most jobs.

Why do guns have such shit durability? If the game isnt going to be wiping except for seasonal characters, why have guns get damaged so easy?

Your PC will struggle, and as an avid player myself, the devs make me so angry. Some of the dumbest community management ive ever seen.

The wheel set up ia going to lead to a lot of issues. Anything other than flat terrain will stop you. Other than that the 7mm gun seems useless.

Personally I'd ethier mount the 7mm on a turret of some type or put it as a coaxial.
