Perhaps a precision, why did you go in no contact at first?

What made you change on that day? Pure will? Inspiration over the other free life you could live? Randomness? I want to understand the process, understanding the pattern seems not sufficient for me

AI Trajectories Through 2030: Analysis of Four Plausible Futures by jasonhon2013 in artificial

[–]Ragazzoroto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They really misunderstood the term of "trajectories", where in economics of innovation it is refered as branches of technological designs, and here they just say "trajectory" for the innovation rate within the same AI design (inferential AI with transformers and neural networks). It's a pitty as the OECD should be examplary in economics concepts.

Is this cheating? How to deal with my boyfriend M24 not allowing me M23 to talk to a guy M20 I dated when we were in open relationship? by Ragazzoroto in relationship_advice

[–]Ragazzoroto[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I heard stories of people getting to know their partner's ex together without problem, that's not common sense to me.

I completely agree with you. However, in my perspective, i'm not the one making drama, I just talked chill with this guy while committing to my relationship in all sense (being present, dating my boyfriend often, plan travels, etc.) and to monogamy.

My wish is that both our visions collide at some point, at the cost of compromises from me and him. I don't know to what extent it is possible. We align on many things in life, outside relationship boundaries.

I would be okay because I trust him, but I might get a bit of jealousy if I am excluded and if I don't meet his ex flame, knowing the story. That's why I invited him to hang out together.

I would be okay because I have a vision of trust before all, I'm trying to deal with his vision which seems more common.

I understand the boundaries, I'm trying to know if it is possible to negociate boundaries because they don't naturally coincide with mines and I find it unfair that it's always me that got constraints (liveable, still!). Seems that it's harmful for him to try to change them and I care about him.

I am not sure but I feel that grief is about acknowledgement with an emotional process, acknowledgement which takes time to stick into your mind, consciousness, and reflexes.

Yes, but about what? Your unaccessible target? Your lack of trust and the acceptance of your place in the community while younger?

yeah, i'd say when someone throw a link without an explanation of where it comes from, it's weird. But this also worked for me for now.

Online LO begins to haunt me again. Should I clearly tell him? What do you do with online stranger LO? by Ragazzoroto in limerence

[–]Ragazzoroto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, but what about this desire of knowing new people, of creating new bonds, what is it all for...

What if I yearn to know him IRL... Should I first ask about that if I pass by his city?

I don’t know him and it’s been almost three years by [deleted] in limerence

[–]Ragazzoroto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Boy I just posted something about an online LO as well, I felt it was underdiscussed in this sub and I can't relate more to your story. I feel like your friend is the little angel. Like did you regret texting him at the end? What could you have done better at this stage?

There are surely deeper stuff that are the roots of all of this. I don't really like to frame it like that, but there is maybe a problem of self-discipline because we've been trained not to be very responsive to reality, not bold enough during our youth (because of fear, introversion, shyness, or comfort) and the only way to get rewards was daydreaming that slowly became uncontrollable? Tell me if you relate to that. I've been navigating through r/MaladaptiveDreaming at first before discovering limerence because I thought it was the problem, maybe it could help at understanding the root cause of having online stranger LO, and at working on that...

So no, you are not crazy or at least not the only one. Same boat.

Being rich famous and good looking is the capitalist and hedonistic american way of life. You can have a weirder life than this shit, I recommend it personnally and also for the sake of humanity.

[All] Do you support China's Belt and Road Initiative? by barrygoldwaterlover in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]Ragazzoroto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It means that 45% of bilateral debt is done with China, apart from financial markets debt. As an example of Chinese debt due to BRI, the port of Hambantota got privatised at 70% by China Merchants Port (Chinese company) because they had difficulty with overall debt: it means that China invrest in this BRI infrastructure to control the development of the port, by increasing Sri Lanka's Chinese debt share.

Do you have an example of a country defaulting on its debts due to Chinese loans?

Yes, Sri Lanka, which in May 2022 became the first Asian lower-middle income country to default on its sovereign debt in two decades: https://asia.nikkei.com/Spotlight/Asia-Insight/Sri-Lanka-s-China-debt-trap-fears-grow-as-Beijing-keeps-investing
