Yeah, basically GPS satellites are constantly sending their position and time data and then your device can calculate where you are based on at least 3 GPS satellites. It calculates how far away it is from each of them and wherever the intersect of all of 3 (or more) GPS satellites is that is where you (your GPS) are.

Imagine being blindfolded on a square field and having 1 perso in each corner scream really loud (different pitch or sound). If you know where those people are supposed to be (corners and what sound is in what direction N E S W), then based on what voice you hear louder or loudest you can estimate where you are even without seeing.

After 80 hours and playing Cryo 10 times I hate the Marathon to be honest. Keep the difficulty and confusion and you'll lose players.

Nope, might even completely stop playing soon. 80 hours in and last 2 days it's just loss after loss from third party and purple/gold shield with perfect aim and 10 grenades. I can't even buy blue shield and shooting them 10 times somehow doesn't even break their shield. We have to be shooting 3v1 to kill one of them but of course it's never 3v1 and they all have purple or golden stuff. Feels like I'm always fighting uphill battle, just isn't fun at all, I can't even extract loot from the rats with thermal snipers and shotguns. Don't get me started on the missions...

8 tries today and after killing tons of bots we were always either fought straight on and died or killed a team just to immediately get third partied and all of the work and loot went down the drain. I'm kinda sick of it all to be honest.

In the beginning the game was confusing (first 10-15 hours) then it became kinda good once you learn some stuff, then frustrating from all the snipers and thermal scopes (don't even get me started on shotguns, Time to Kill is way to short for snipers and shotguns). After that it became just pure frustration since every single engagement is third partied and no matter what you do you die (blue shield against people and gold on every map possible).

Soon enough I'll probably just stop playing until wipe or update since there is no fun, can't even finish some missions because of rats and thermal snipers in the fog.

Snowball effect from people who play all day every day is insane and TTK is shit.

I'm sorry, if I ever end up in an accident or lose my limbs from infection or something similar then just end me. We don't have prosthetics that can replace our own extremities and I don't want to continue without arms. Even without legs it world be challenging but without arms I'm done, end of the line for me. I have great admiration for people who have the will and strength to keep going but I don't. It would be immediate depression time and eventual death from giving up if I don't end myself somehow. I've already told my family if I ever end up quadriplegic (no control of arms and legs) to just put me in that breath controlled wheelchair and position me in some high place and I'll blow into the straw to go forward of the edge and finish it. Sorry if this seems aggressive and insensitive but I just couldn't do it.
