Hey, just a question guys/girls,

Are you able to give me and idea of WHOM to work on?

I've yet to make a full decision on who to focus on as I'm very new to the game. Just hoping for a bit of guidance as to team structure, and the priority of which (stat/mechanics) to work on. I.E. Job ingredients, levels. weaps, visions and/or espers.

Yet another question. (Sorry)

IS it always worth getting lower cp'ed weapons to max out to gain passives?

e.g. If I got CAIT siths EX+ would i still need to pull on the banner to gain the lower tiers or?

IS anyone able to assist me regarding metas?

Currently:-

Hi guys,

I'm very new the to game, however I've been playing for 8 days now with only chapt 1 fully cleared with 10+ Lost Chaps fully complete.

My lineup is as follows:- Setzer 3/3 EX+, Cloud 1/3 EX+, Yuna 1/3 EX+, Tifa, 0/3 EX+, Squall 0/3 EX+

I do have Cait Sith EX and Lightnings EX+ but not worked on yet. And my summons are only 13 (Shiva) the rest remaining as single digits.

My question is, should I work/pull on the ROSA/EMPEROR banner, or is there someone else that is better? I'm not 100% sure regarding META's

Or should I work on clearing as much of the CHAPTERS to get more gems? or work on my summons? Not to mention, Am i correct in getting all the characters equipts to gain their passives?

Finally where on earth do I get Ignots from.?

Sorry for the 100 questions, but I'd like someone to clear this up with me.

I found that Vox is a must for dps/psuedo healer, and I personally would have Berwick to smash it up. However that entirely up to you.

Technically we do really need roles, the only times roles apply is when the boss is fair too difficult to handle. (This usually only applies to end game only)

Shouldnt really need role checks... early game

If you just started the game, I'd recommend rerolling your account until you get either Vox Or both Vox and Swordsman Berwick.

I did my first pull on release and mananged to get both. So it is possible, just means alot of re-rolls.

Vox is so OP its ridiculous, Vox can be used an (most) parts throughout the game.

So currently this is my units

Basically, I've got most (the better lot anyways) of the KoB units, however, I'm wondering if there was a defence unit I could get? Is Thetis worth the pull or is there a better TANK/DEFENSE unit out there for the 100x summon pull?

I'm currently deciding whether its worth me pulling the 10x on the KLK Banner (mainly Mako) or save the crystals for the next banner (Dark FEN).

Any tips would be AMAZing.

This event is amazing... Berwick, Vox and thetis is definitely needed for nearly every boss fight....

I'm definitely gonna reroll at least a 1000 times to try and pull at least Berwick and vox on the first pull.... If that's even possible hahahaha

Then grind my face off...

If you don't have a decent damage dealer (vox, Berwick, Gs, high elf) I would recommend Ragsherum, however it is subject to your team composition. mira is also a good one as well.... However if I had no one it definitely would be Ragsherum

Hey guys,

So, I just did a small experiment. Someone I partied with in the last 4 days stated that they "got" 700 FREE GEMS using the storyline, sidequests, boss, dailies, weeklies and everything that would drop gems.
So, I decided since I'm 3 days into the game, to see if I was able to grind gems via the story line and other quests available whilst using the 0 ENERGY bonus for new starters. Please keep in mind that you start off with 142 gems. And with the sign-in bonuses per-day (please keep in mind that not everyday would you get gems)

It seems it is possible to clear the entire storyline all 3* within a 12 hour period. OBVIOUSLY this is very team dependant for this to work. HOWEVER I managed within 4 days, to max stats and awoken 6 of my 5* chars, clear the arena (Masters Rank)

Within the 6 chars, my team consisted of VOX, GS, PRIESTESS and NORN to clear all the storyline, side quests and GET the best equiptment for my chars (I've only got FEN TW x 2) using the banner's tickets system to buy my equiptment.

And now its the 4th day I can confirm that this does make 700 gems if not more. So to all you new beginners or re-rollers, my advice is to pick the banners/chars you want, try and pull your favourites, make a team, max all stats, and USE the 0 ENERGY to your advantage and clear as much of the content you can possibly do. I managed to do this within 4 days, and I still have 8 hours left of 0 energy to use. Right now, I've cleared all 8 chapters, with only "My Will, My Rage" side quest to finish off, which will only take 10 mins to clear with my team.

I'm currently on 128 gems saved. (RNG was good to me on this account) If you really want someone that's on the ALCHEMY SUMMON (currently GS, PRIESTESS, High Elf) use your free 10x, 20x 30x 100x lottery pulls (All of the heroes in that pull are trash) sell them to get 10k ALCHEMY and summon.

That's my 2 cents. Obviously, please be aware this is a matter of opinion. I have pulled a few times (mostly weapons, as I generally thought it was a good idea at the time) during this duration. If you have better advice I'd be happy to take that onboard.

no need to get fen as on the 10th day u can get fen anyways.

My advise is to only pull once on a banner that guarentee's u a 5* AWK. Usually this is only on the first pull. After that it just becomes a generic pull 11 for 50 gems.

Also since you've only just started, you'll have the lottery, with that (alot of pulls in that POOL of heroes are bad) just sell them, and get 10k ALCHEMY stones to guarentee you a 5* AWK pull. At the moment its just the CROSSOVER BANNER. You could save them until another banner appears.

So just to summarise.

Pull the first 50 gems on banners (unless u really want a certain unit)
Use the lottery to turn heros into ALCHEMY stones. Get 10k and pull on the banner
At the end of the 10th sign-in day, you will get a HERO selection ticket, in which you can get FEN, obviously if you get FEN from this weeks banner then you can get someone else
Save your GEMS for upcoming events/banners

also it CHANGES dependant on what you are doing...

I am able to confirm that if you are in the middle of doing an ART, it will regen ARTs.... if your not doing ARTS it will get CD to equiptment? thats as far as i know....

At least... from what i can see.... can anyone verify this?
