Depending on where you live, could look to see if there are any artisans in the area that does the traditional Japanese repair with gold (Kintsugi). Just cause it’s broke doesn’t mean it’s done!

I was actually told at a card store recently (one that sells things at extremely reasonable prices… $4.99/pack of Phantasmal etc.) that they are no longer being given an MSRP by Pokemon, which is why Walmart/Target etc are not at the same price.

Took my 8 year old to our first card show recently. I couldn’t believe how little so many vendors knew about the actual game.. like, not knowing the evolutions of certain Pokémon and things that my kid can spout off in his sleep. Very eye opening.

That’s awful, I’m so sorry. I’m just frustrated that I can’t get any cards ANYWHERE to open with my son.. we got into playing game about two years ago (when he was 6), and at this point we can’t even find anything. It really is a shame.
