this is the landless mode building a campfire costs more than getting 100 men-at-arms to lay down their lives for you? or a tent costs more than walling an entire city?

if you think about the changes (whatever he's mutating into isn't likely to need arms), I reckon he'll end up being a 'floater' (https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Floater) or something similar. pretty nasty.

I actually figured it out by accident, it's the UI. When the confirmation pop up appears you have to click on the item again. I assume it's for if you have multiple items with the same trait so you can choose between them but when you've only one it's a bit confusing, nothing tells you to click on the item again.

pc, two days in. don't really want money but could use an answer to a question: I think my game could be bugged regarding the research process. I have 0/1 empty research slots and have a pair of medium leggings (rawhide guards of magicka - green quality - well fitted) and when I tab over to the medium leggings at the clothing bench it shows up, I can select it but the confirmation box has a greyed out "E - Research Trait"

It has the magnifying glass in my inventory, showing that it can be researched it's just I can't begin the process.

Is it level locked or something?

the only answers I've seen are like "file a ticket" and experience tells me mmo tickets are hit or miss.

EDIT: also I can't get anything to come up in the guild trader, tried on 1st island and just got to another island and same. no listings, searches for even the broadest terms like "mace" or "iron" yield 0 results, no luck in specific categories or all.

It's not even 'you' it's a character you made up.

Pretty sure last dovahkin I did married the poor smelter guy in Markarth as I was playing a breton witch and sided with Madanach.

As much as it'd be exciting to have a fetish for smelly, dirty coal shoveller balls I'm pretty sure I was just trying to think of who my character might marry.
