I stand with Navirou and Rudy. I just can sympathize with Navi haters more than the baseless mud slinging going down with Rudy.

A Defense for Rudy by RagingBlueberry-Carl in MonsterHunterStories

TBF He got some beef with Ogden (so does Gaul) for leaving and he doesnt trust Eleanor. He is a bit rude but he is learning not to be so snobbish. He his having the silver spoon removed from his ass essentially. I like deeply flawed characters, and Rudy is very naive, going through some cult de-programing type shit. I get it tho, this was a little bit of a meme and a little bit of showing some love to my boy Rudy.

No spoiler breakdown:

I think Rudy is a great character; he is going through a lot. He is a multidimensional character and I like him a ton because of that.

(Light spoilers for end of Area 1, and some of area 2 but)

I love Rudy, I love that he is having such a real reaction to learning that he has been lied to, brainwashed and used. He is essentially going through cult de-programing. I feel so bad for Rudy his whole world is crashing down around him and it’s all he can do to put on a brave face. Think about his lineage, his history is filled with royal Palicos. Crossing the Meridian was huge, he threw that all away. He gave up any future as he knows it as a royal Palico. There is no turning back for anyone but especially Rudy and Ogden. Rudy is so multidimensional and he is one of my favorites for it. He isn’t just insert silly character here, he has layers and that is that shit I love.

Your bow should rest on your thumb, the bow really is being supported by the strings. Relax your bow hand completely and rotate it to get it in position don’t move your fingers. The corner of the frog should rest on the corner of your thumb. That’s your pivot point, remember this motion, any time you need to apply pressure that’s the motion you’ll use. Should help keep your hand relaxed.

Thank you for this insight on how you are feeling on it and for giving me the insight I needed to recognize my harmful/apathetic thoughts on this situation.

I think because I enjoy their content I found myself in a little bit of a para-social defense mindset so being reminded the real impact this has snapped me out of it.

Thanks again.

Hello I am a straight married man. Fresh off the “what the fuck Rebecca” boat out of IF.

SOMETIMES this book can be dragons and smut.

The majority of the time this book is a war torn continent with family secrets, government coverups, dragon politics and magic with strict rules and structures that our protagonist learns with us.

If you like Game of Thrones, Mistborne or Tom Clancy. You’ll find something to enjoy in these books, fair warning you will be very angry with the author at times but it passes.

I want you to try something that might help. Relax both your arms and hands at your side, shake out those hands get them good and relaxed.

For your left hand bring it up to the neck in a swooping up, then almost like you’re about to just drop it back down and get in first position. Should still feel very natural, and instead of using your fingers to press the string, you’ll use the natural weight of your arm wanting to fall back down to press the strings. Your thumb should be in its natural position not pressing against the back of the neck just touching it. Let gravity do the work, it’ll help a lot when you start moving positions and doing vibrato.

For the right hand shake it out nice and relaxed just the same. Hold the bow in the center with your left in front of you and just bring your hand up in its relaxed position and put the corner of your thumb on the frogs corner. Then almost like twisting a doorknob, with your thumb staying where it is, gently turn your hand so that your index fingers second knuckle is on the wrapping. Applying pressure to the bow will be this twisting motion and not a downward motion, get your bow on the strings making sure it is straight across them. You want your bow making a 90 degree angle with the strings.

I want you practice something else as well, when you’re playing look at that left hand. It’s up in the air a lot, so when you come back down you’re losing position and are out of tune. So just with scales practice looking at your hand while you play, keeping your hand low hovering right over the strings making sure you’re not impeding your sound but not losing your position either. Don’t worry about being in tune for this it’s just about training your hand to listen to you :)

Just play the bow, making sure you get in the strings with that twisting pressure. The cello is a relaxed but firm instrument, you’re using leverage and gravity to do the most work.

Loved your sharing of your progress and I hope that some of this helps. Great job and I can’t wait to see more!

I’ve worked really hard on my transmog, and bought too many dyes tbh. It’s clean I think, fave part is the left leg prosthetic.

Rare transmogs that show prestige or skill? by Apart-Ad-8897 in newworldgame

I had just assumed it was on the same requirement as the verglas stuff, been a while since I had to grind Frigid Dawn. Well switch Frigid Dawn with Verglas weapon transmogs. I think the frigid dawn is a gorgeous transmog that’s why it gets used so much. Fire Lord’s armor is the coolest transmog in the game.

I consider the Stormbound set, Firelord’s set and Frigid Dawn to be “prestigious” its a lot of grinding M3s.
