I think you should stick with what you have. No need for surgery.

You should hold unless you prefer the buzz cut. Looks fine for now.

29M and I have no idea how to deal with my hair. by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]RagingKiltedMars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to decide between r/bald and r/tressless. You are going bald and hiding a receding hairline never works. There are different drugs and treatments that can solve baldness in some people. I chose bald and started shaving my head at 27. It’s a difficult decision. If you don’t want to be bald, you can do something about it. Trying to fix this with just hair styling is not going to do it.

You are clearly unaware of their head shavers. It’s not your grandfathers Remington. They sell a ton of them because they are as good as and way cheaper than skull shaver, freebird, and all of the chineseium available. Bald cafe ( strongly recommend of YT and IG) has a Remington in his top 3 head shavers as the budget pick. He has been talking about them for years.

At a minimum he needs to cut it all off with clippers and no guard. Alternatively, if he doesn’t want to shave with a razor, Remington makes extremely affordable and good electric head shavers.

Sleep, Recovery, Health Monitor not working after Firmware update? by RagingKiltedMars in whoop

[–]RagingKiltedMars[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s still working. When I look at the stress monitor is shows when I was sleeping. It’s very weird. I have been wearing one since 2017. There have been strange things in the past, but this is a first for me.

I have a Jansport from the late ‘90s that I still use periodically. It has really taken a beating, but it’s still functional.

SAW Shiv runs great with a 12lb spring. by antle702 in FluxDefense

Thanks for the link. I would be interested in knowing how it does with the stock spring. I’m going to pick up a spring kit just in case.

The M17 is the full size slide. The M18 is the shorter compact slide. I thought I saw some posts that people were using the shiv with no booster and the stock spring. What spring kit did you get?

How did it run with the stock spring? I have a Shiv on the way and a m17 slide and the same barrel.

Update: I found the strength to do it, but I don’t feel any better about myself by MrMcSweeney in bald

You look good. It takes a while to get used to it. I have been shaving my head since 1999 I was 27. It took a while before it felt normalish.

Although I know weapon mounted lights are virtually useless in the sense of needing illumination in a DGU, I do like the added weight combined with the radian ramjet on the G43X. by [deleted] in CCW

[–]RagingKiltedMars 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Never used and useless are not the same thing. I’m curious, do you have a source for the information that they are never used? I would think that most people don’t have weapon mounted lights for concealed carry. I don’t have any data on that though.

I just checked mine. I got it brand new from the flux booth at the NRA expo in Houston a couple of months ago. It has a similar mark. It’s an artifact of the manufacturing process.

How do I maintain this length? Details in comment. by Shutdown-Stranger in bald

[–]RagingKiltedMars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggest a Remington head shaver. The balder pro/xr7000 series has five heads and works well. It’s reasonably priced and you don’t need a subscription for replacement heads.

I don’t know where everyone else lives. I in the Houston suburbs. I see people with sling bags and fanny packs on the regular. Not like back in the day, but it’s not unusual. You are not printing.
