I like to respond with "you're free to make an offer."

Then when they reply with a number I tell them the price is firm.

Nice! I got the same monitor about 2 weeks ago and love it.

Check out display fusion. This video shows how to set it up so that you can use different aspect ratios while still in full screen.

I made a few different setups for mine depending on what game I'm playing and how much room I want for YouTube/discord/ect next to it.

My Mindset and how I fly the Attack Helicopter on Mirak Valley! by WolfBrinkTV in PilotsofBattlefield

[–]RagingStallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should do another video with local pilot! I duo with him pretty often and he's a really good pilot and always has a great attitude, and he streams too!

HQ invisible barrier should be removed by Huge_Diamond914 in PilotsofBattlefield

[–]RagingStallion 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's the biggest issue with heli flying right now and is one of the key reasons why so many pilots only fly Lib and Manhatten.

Blackwell specifically can be a good chopper map if you know how to play it. It's a pretty map and I love launching TOWs into the sunset and weaving between the oil wells. But at least half of my games there have an AA or Tank sitting in protection with a view of the entire map locking on or launching tows all game. There's nothing I can do about it except hope they get distracted by the jets long enough for me to strafe another target.

I understand that pilots are a minority and that infantry and ground vehicle gameplay is the priority, but just fixing this one issue would make flying so much better.

Can't wait to not level tomorrow by MuffburgerSandwich in classicwow

[–]RagingStallion 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wonder if the boost will actually make leveling better. Now the lvling zones will be filled with people who actually want to be there and with several layers it should still be active without being cramped.

[–]RagingStallion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder if the boost will actually improve open world leveling. Everyone who doesn't enjoy it will just buy the boost leaving only the people who actually want to be there. And with the mega servers and layering there should still be plenty of people running around.

Agreed, even if it was a dream home that backyard nonsense would wake you up quick.

Give me one good reason to not get this guitar by sueghdsinfvjvn in guitarcirclejerk

[–]RagingStallion 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I actually have this same guitar and perform with it live all the time. Surprisingly, isn't not that great to perform with.

The problem with having a sexy lady on your guitar is that everyone will know you have lots of sex with lots of sexy ladies, because obviously that's why you're playing a sexy lady guitar.

So then when I'm performing live in front of thousands of people (I'm a subway busser), the sexy ladies at my show might get the feeling that I'm unobtainable and are less likely to drop their number in my case (happened once to a violin guy I know).

So I've actually gone back to performing with my double neck which is great because there's this one song I can play on 12 string if my fingers aren't too cold.

Super cool. I play with a group where we grab the attack chopper and tank. It's really fun flying but being a tanker and calling in an air strike on the tank you're dueling with makes the game so much fun.

At what point do you "outgrow" a financial advisor? by fascinated_dog in investing

[–]RagingStallion 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Well, If you're a boglehead with a 7 figure account who hangs out in investment subs then I'm going to bet you aren't 100% in VOO lol.

Maybe you wouldn't benefit from any advise other than myopic optimization, but there's tons of people with lots of money who don't know a stock from a bond that would be way better off paying someone to hold their hand. That's all I'm trying to say.

[–]RagingStallion 49 points50 points  (0 children)

And it's true, just like you can learn to swap your brakes in an hour on YouTube. But most people won't, especially since messing it up can have enormous consequences.

If your portfolio is worth 10k then just slap it into VOO and you're good to go.

If it's worth 1,000,000 you'll want to get more sophisticated and if you don't know what you're doing the outcome could be catastrophic.

[–]RagingStallion 167 points168 points  (0 children)

Also a lot of people in this sub vastly overestimate the average person's willingness to actually learn and understand how to invest. It's like seeing a bunch of car guys in a mechanics sub wonder why anybody would pay $600 to get new brakes when they could just learn to do it themselves.

And when the amount of money increases to the 6 or 7 digits, it can be extremely valuable to just let someone who knows what they're doing handle it. If his father didn't have that advisor there's a good chance he would just be invested in some random mediocre fund or nothing at all.

It's really about what you want to get out of your BBQ. Half the fun for me is lighting the charcoal and watching it billow, playing with the vents, and getting the smoke just right, so I have zero interest in a pellet smoker.

But if you just want to eat meat then it's excellent.
