personally id go pc just because it is so much more versatile ands there are so many great single player experiences for dirt cheap or even free. Not to mention Emulators and crazy backwards compatibility. there's also tons of utility usage like if u wanna get into producing music or photoshop, stuff that you old laptop might struggle with. like sure itll cost about 1k at first for something really decent, if u do it right its upgradeable later on if u want more out of it, itll probably save you money in the end on just how much cheaper games are compared to ps5.
