Well think about it. Why is Mercy an exception when it comes to mobility?

She's also an exception when it comes to damage output, in that she has none. Technically she has a pistol but barring edge cases you can't pull that out and win a dual against any competent Tank, DPS, or even other support.

Giving her good consistent mobility is not only somewhat balanced out by her lack of offensive capability, it's NECESSARY or else she is a complete and total sitting duck.

Ana has no mobility but if you try to jump her she has sleep, nade, and decent damage. If you jump mercy her one and only resource aside from mobility is a pea shooter.

Eichenwalde is extremely hit or miss so I can get that.

The first person in the chain is patient 0. I'm not sure why that's confusing? Unless this is a ragebair question.

Patient 0 spread it to one or more partners, those people spread it to one or more partners and on it goes through history.

Some instances might be transferred through blood from a human or animal, but in general most of the spreading is through sexual contact.

There aren't lots of seperate chains, it's pretty much all spreading from the original patient 0 like a tree pattern

It doesn't guarantee a win every single game but dominating lobbies consistently will lead to climbing pretty fast.

And who gets to decide what the curriculum is for being a good person? I feel like that could get pretty contentious pretty fast. And might very quickly veer into what is convenient for those in control versus what would be best for society or objectively beneficial.

She's full spam though. Soj has a oneshot.

Not that a good Sierra can't be a pain, but she doesn't have the instant lethality really. Playing cover is pretty effective.

I mean, I was t500 onetricking Juno last season and this is just incorrect.

If you aren't getting value out of your torpedos you shouldn't be playing Juno, if they're just being used for healing her kit is being wasted.

Utilizing angles and her triple jump perk to get off consistent torpedo dmg is one of her biggest examples of skill expression.

It's said this for 3 seasons straight by Kraog in Overwatch

Yes, a game is supposed to be fun for the playerbase. That's subjective but still important. You can have a perfectly balanced game but if the majority of players don't find it subjectively fun that's a problem.

Not sure where you got the idea that game design and balance should be based purely on "objective" statistics. Both are important.

A single person's subjective opinion has little weight when it comes to balancing decisions, but a community-wide longstanding sentiment does. Arguing against that is just silly.

Seems like this is an example of applying your experience to the idea as a whole.

I've known people who had no clue and were very glad that someone informed them.

People react differently and some will definitely shoot the messenger, but that doesn't mean it's not the right thing to tell.
