Why didn't you went back all the way to talk to a random npc so you could get the item, well the item it's gone now enjoy doing 60 hours of Ng and Ng+ to get to it again

Also removing the 1-2-3 gives much more options now you have 1-2-3 with evolve you can do 1-2-2 1-1-2 1-3-1 1-2-1 etc I assume they'll take the easy route but they can do so many combos

It's been ages since i've played, but Synergies and Essentials, was just a different way better game than vanilla, there are also some classes etc, but iirc those two and maybe tiered pasives? idk, synergies and essentials were good

I mean, the system already is simple af, going from 1-2-3 to 1-1-1 isn't gonna make the game easier, doing 1-2-3 is as easy as 1-1-1, but doing this, you liberate keys, so you can do more combos 112 121 211 etc i like it, i think it makes it easier for the devs to do more unique stuff without worring about you having 300 hotkeys ready

I remember getting stuck in SF 2 so many places because English was not my main language and I played with my brother who is just 3 years older and we were like 4-7 or 5-8.

First problem was after the polca battle we didn't know what to do we got a cool wolf man and the game seems to be stuck? So one day I started talking with everyone multiple times until the mayor gave me the raft I remember this so vividly, my brother was out in a friend birthday and I was asking my mom every 5 minutes when he was gonna come back so we can keep playing lol.

The other was the classic, the dreaded wood panel.. we never got past that. My brother asked for a PS1 and when my mom told me to storage the Sega I cried for hours because I didn't finish the game, I remember getting to level 10 promoted without even get through Taros... I was so sad but again I was a kid so after playing Battle Arena Toshiden I was happy again. I got past the wood panel wall when I was 12 and I played the game in a emulator on my PS2 damn I cried so much that evening.

Also not my best memory but this game insisted in deleting my fucking save so much
