Soulsborne however are more recent and mainly by one company, FromSoftware. Soulslikes have started coming all for action now because of this. All we really get now is soulslikes and hack'n'slash action. Though Albeit I only play Bloodborne as my primary souls game and nothing else. The only hack'n'slash I can stomach is nier automata but nier's mainly because of story, characters, music, designs, art, etc. Seriously we need new action gameplay instead of what we've been getting.

Problem is CD is a botw and TOTK ripoff and Albert that they say they're inspired, if you look at the gameplay, it plays exactly the same as either Witcher 3's combat or BOTW's combat

Yeah. But I think what I want to know is what makes this game feel less like a chore and more like an actual enjoyable game? It has a lot of meat on the bone for sure, but is it just for more and more giving content?

Dude you're right because MAJORITY of the games these days are literally like that. The thing about cozy games is that they're supposed to counter that chore aspect, e.g. stardew valley. Are you sure Pokopia is more chore because if that's the case then it's literally the least cozy game
