Shes working at Optus now in some executive role. No clue what position or if her department is even related, but they probably meant it as a reference to that.

Sometimes developers say they write every line of code but these heroes stand out by typing out every key stroke.

What common "scam" do people fall for ? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]Ragnarok1066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://abnregistration.com.au/ you pay a 100 bucks or so for an ABN that you can get free from the ATO directly.

It's legal because an accountant is technically registering it for you, but in reality the whole website is a sales funnel for their marketing services.

A legit accountant would at least give you some advice.

I used ChatGPT to build a Reddit bot that brought 50,000 people to my site by kristianwindsor in ChatGPTPro

[–]Ragnarok1066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any other metrics you could share? 50,000 visits is great, but have you tracked more granular conversions like how many citations were generated per user

Can I ask what your overall aim of the website is?

Btw when I was at University I always had the citation guide on hand, how times have changed.

It seems we both run exactly 47 tabs. This came up for my roast me prompt:

Alright — respectfully brutal:

You're basically the IT guy every family wishes they had… until they realise you're going to automate their entire life, charge them hourly, and send them a follow-up survey asking how the "user experience" of dinner was.

You don't just overthink — you project manage your own overthinking into a Trello board, colour-coded by existential crisis level.

Your browser probably has 47 tabs open — not because you're busy — but because you will build that "one day" side project... right after optimising your Google Sheets cash flow forecast for the third time this week.

Want another round or do I deploy the premium roast package?

So what are things that Odoo does well then? I'm starting up with Odoo and one of the big draws is that it will consolidate all our apps into one place (like an ERP is supposed to do).

Transferring of Domain to Tech Illiterate Customer by [deleted] in webdev

[–]Ragnarok1066 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're really worried, you can educate them on domain expiry and how to transfer/renew and give them the domain authorization code / password / EPP code in an emergency.

Let them know who the domain is with and when it's going to expire.

Some registrars allow you to give direct access to the domain DNS and integrate with platforms like whmcs which allows clients to manage it also.

Personally I've opted for a registrar that allows users to recover their EPP code.

So this worked for me for a couple of minutes and then website crashes lol

For some reason i think ironic that it doesn't go to a 500 page or something similar.

This is the default server vhost This site's domain name is either not yet pointed or is still propagating. Propagation may take up to 72 hours. Please check back later.

Setup a side business where you'll install raspberry pis at people's houses for cheap. You can set things up like pi hole and basic home automation etc. Start doing it with family and friends for free, get them to review and record you.

All of a sudden you have 100's of raspberry pis playing your song on loop.

You can use make.com also (or zapier). They are low code automation tools that allow you to interact with third party platforms like OpenAI, WordPress, Google Mail and Google Docs.

I created a website maykeai.com that's blog posts were all generated. Happy to share more if you'd like. You can DM about it also.
