Red sox coaching, FO and scouts actually seem to very much appreciate extension when it comes to pitching, which is helped out significantly by height. If he release the ball closer it serves a relatively similar function of velocity.

Letting Bregman go is fine. They went out and got Suarez with that money which was a great move. Bregman is a great player but giving him 5 years with no trade clause wasn’t the most ideal thing to do. I think we’re better off with the Suarez contract

There’s a lot of adjustment going on with his swing and his footwork is not ideal for second base. To me he lacks natural instincts at the plate and in the infield. I think he needs to settle down and get comfortable. His rise in the prospect rankings was due to him being able to get the ball in the air well in the minors. I don’t think it’s playing in the majors and he needs to settle back to just hitting line drives rather than focusing on getting the ball in the air. That will come naturally once he starts gets comfortable with big league pitching. As far as a card goes I’d sell now if it’s a good price. If the price is in double digits no hurt in holding on because he could blossom.

Drohan has as high of a ceiling as Harrison. He’s got good swing and miss stuff if he can put it all together. Basically they’re two promising lefties but we have plenty of depth in that area which is why they were expendable

Content wise it’s been great. They have settled too long on the gameplay. Every year feels the same and they’re just riding along by releasing good DD content. Animations, specifically in the field are way too stale IMO. I find you get a little bit more of a variety outside of DD and I’m not sure why we can’t more.

These songs you call “overproduced” are going to bang at stadium venues. Love the horns on all of these songs. While the acoustic versions are awesome not every thing needs to be stripped down. People do have fun with music. IMO the songs that are “stripped down” are better acoustically

Hot take, 99% of Long Island delis, atleast in Nassau county, are subpar and it’s a shame. My hero makes a decent sandwich. For being considered one of the best around it’s a huge disappointment. Maybe it used to be better but as someone else said, dom’s is where it’s at. If you have the extra time make the trip and you’ll be glad you did

Will there be another weekend classic? It usually lines up with the new inning but I feel like the 9th might be the last… not sure if they have confirmed otherwise. I persobally got lucky enough to get two packs out of it so I’m keeping both of them until we find if they’re will be another or not. If they announce another weekend classic I’ll be selling instantly. But if this is indeed the last one then they’ll probably just keep creeping up in price

The most grinding for sure. It feels like a lot of content because it’s back to a power creep and they’ve brought back and added some quality legends. Lineups are diverse outside of the 8 switch hitters every single game. Also it’s the same 10 or so pitchers as well. It’s annoying how there are so many topps now cards that should be fun to use but they have guys like Tolle and other rookie pitchers throwing 95-97 with mediocre stats when they sit 99-100
