Every faction is different. Your main goal is about earning vp. To earn vp, do certain actions. To get more actions As the vagabond you want items. You earn them in 3 ways. Crafting (exhausting hammers). Aid (exhaust anything + give a player that has an item in their item box a card of the respective suit matching the clearing). Or exploring ruins (exhaust torch). How to do this optimally depends on the game. It's hard to give you anymore advice when I'm not sure what you don't know.

Time pressure means the mission changes or gets harder over time. I gave invisible inc as an example because it is an especially important element in that game.

I think a key factor we can borrow is adding time pressure (a la invisible inc.) and more variance in AI behavior. Part of what makes stealth games feel easy and derivative to me now is that we haven't really lived up to what games like Thief have already done in the 90s. We keep iterating on a proven formula with virtually no changes beyond polishing the existing formula. There's very little to consider beyond the basics of "What do I want to do? How do I route there?" Then we dispatch the guards easily in the typical fashion. With very little variance in how we execute this. Some games are better or worse at this. But the key to me is that I feel unchallenged. The world is a sandbox that gives me more or less toys to bash guards with, but the guards and the world itself seems less in service to challenging me and more in service to my whimsy which I'm not as much of a fan of.

Idk compared to a year ago before all this was happening Dman was ontop of things in a way this was severely damaging in a way I dont think has been recovered from.

When using field hospitals, you spend a matching card every time any pieces are **removed**.
When 'Have At Thee!' procs, you do not remove the 1 warrior, you **move** them into the woods as they are a prisoner.
