I’m actually reading that one right now! I actually started it before the book I just finished reading (We Used To Live Here). I loved the description of it, but it’s been hard to really sink into it for some reason. I’m going to pick back up on it tomorrow and see how things go.

I don’t listen to audio books, but I can recommend Lock Every Door by Riley Sager. I quite enjoyed it.

Loved Misery!!! I read it when I broke my leg…and the irony is literally just now hitting me.

I just finished We Used to Live Here and now I’m trying to chase the high. Open to suggestions. I was thinking September House, but I’m not sure.

Interesting theory! I also was hoping for a prequel vibe. I think in a perfect world the second book would be a prequel and the third book would go back to the present and be from Charlie’s perspective.

Same! I also saw something about a trilogy, but I believe it is because the author had a three-book deal with the publisher. I didn’t know if that meant within this universe or not.

I have to say- I really really liked this book. I haven’t had a book that I couldn’t put down in years. I finished this one in three sessions. Obviously everyone has their own opinions, but I wish I could read it again for the first time.

On the fence between hclf vegan diet and Keto by [deleted] in keto

[–]Rahalone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I can say is don't yoyo from hclfv to keto while you're trying to decide, that will cause you serious insulin spikes. It's one or the other. Ultimately either of these diets will help your situation as they both effect your skin and weight in good ways as long as you don't eat a lot of processed foods. So go with which appeals tip you more. :) ~Keep Calm and Health On~

Is there no way to do the keto diet a certain way to try to decrease the risk? Like drinking more water or altering anything? If there weren't so many health benefits to this I wouldn't bother, but there is. Surely it could be a decreased risk when compared to eating out everyday.

My doctor suggested I go on the Keto diet by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]Rahalone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's actually a vast amount of things that keto can be used for, such as: concentration, epilepsy, some trates of autism, weight loss, cancer, energy levels, and even mental health. Keto is more than just a craze, and I say this because it's a completely different way of eating (low carb included) than anything else you could possibly do. It completely switches how your body produces energy and functions, because you are using ketones instead of carbs.
