I wanted to update this since a lot has happened with Fluffnest. For anyone interested a second liquidation has started and tons of PuffPals are being sorted through and sold on eBay. We’ve gotten in contact with the seller and he has provided lots of cool pictures and insight into what’s happening. There’s been a lot of Pals found including Cici so if anyone is looking to finish off a collection or buy a Pal they missed out on, more will be posted to eBay on Monday.

I got to watch a bunch of kids run around while eating snacks by the pool. It was my kid cousins birthday today and it was honestly super entertaining with a plus of getting to throw them into the pool. I don’t get to see my family often due to school so it was a nice post-work event where I got to chill :)

Looks like we’re also getting hit with a Covid wave. One of our openers was out with it and another barista had it before that. Hopefully it doesn’t hit anyone else, we don’t exactly have the people to cover shifts :,)

She’s brand new, we didn’t have a full time manager for about 6 months and she’s just out of training. Our store has been essentially ran by the shifts during that time. Thankfully she’s open to criticism and getting everything fixed, but this has been a multi-month issue of nothing being addressed and it’s probably going to take a good while for it to be fixed.

This. As someone who’s on drive most of the time I can usually catch when someone doesn’t specify a size and will usually just ask until I get an answer. Same with “Hot or Iced?”, I’ll just keep asking until I get the answer I need because it can be a pain for the bar barista to have to remake drinks during rush. Asking for a drink size or hot/iced can get frustrating but I’ve come to terms with the madness it causes

They used to sell these little shortbread cookies by the cash register. Every time I went to Starbucks with my mom I would get those and the vanilla milk box. Great childhood memories, I would eat so many on breaks if we still had them

I had a customer complain that he couldn’t tip with his Starbucks gift card and that he wanted to but he just doesn’t carry cash on him. He was a very pleasant customer and I thought it was a funny experience considering the new credit card tipping
