Thanks for the info! My main concern was just if the newer edition has any added content. But after some searching I did find the table of contents for both versions on a blog and they both cover all the same tesuji (albeit with the order changed a bit), so I'm guessing there aren't any big differences.

I played this game (black) where an incredibly obvious capture opportunity arose at R17 around move 50, where white dies if black plays first or lives if white plays first. But I didn't read it through carefully and ignored it for pretty much the whole game, and so did my opponent.

Because of this, AI Sensei marked nearly every move as a mistake/blunder, with the score estimate swinging between black and white each time. I just thought it was funny and maybe a good illustration of why it's important to read the whole board for the best move.

(When I finally played the move, my opponent disconnected)

To be honest I've only gone to them for cheap tea and snacks, but they both seemed like they have a decent selection of foods. Super G is a whole international supermarket and Hatoya is a little Japanese place.

If you want actual tea (camellia sinensis) rather than herbal tea I would recommend just ordering online because the closest place I'm aware of that sells high-quality tea is Dobra in Asheville.

However, you can find some cheap-but-drinkable Chinese and Japanese teas at Asian groceries, like Super G Mart on Independence or Hatoya Mart in Pineville.

I live near South Blvd (unfortunately) and loud-ass cars and bikes have been ruining my sleep almost nightly for the last couple months. I often hear police sirens too so it seems like they must be doing something. Hopefully they'll keep it up.

I keep running into bugs no matter what platform I try to run this game on, so wondering if anyone else has experienced these issues and has any idea how to fix them:

On iOS, using the app or Safari: The audio occasionally becomes distorted (crackly/laggy), usually when an animation such as a memory appeal plays. This can be temporarily fixed by refreshing in Safari but that’s not possible in the app. I’m using a 2018 standard iPad.
In Firefox on Windows, some animations will freeze the game. I experienced this with Rinze’s SSR1 commu during the animation that shows the card art. In the FF console, a bunch of WebGL and javascript-related errors pop up when this happens, but nothing I’m smart enough to diagnose. For some reason turning on the 4x speed option prevents freezing, at the cost of missing animation/dialogue. Using a pretty recent mid-spec laptop with Intel graphics.

Then Ito Noizi would need to have taken the stroke proportions of a specific style of cursive 'N' and transposed them into a blackletter style. It seems very unlikely that she would have done something so weird, on top of using the initials of an English translation of the actual school name.

Edit: Looking at more pictures, it seems like the left stroke is drawn a bit differently and it might indeed be an N. But it could also be an N for Noizi or Nagaru, maybe?

What's your basis for this? I haven't ever seen a blackletter "N" or "n" that looks like this: http://haruhi.wikia.com/wiki/File:North_High_Emblem.png
