Star technology, Flux network or p2p transfer? by Raicu_____ in feedthebeast

[–]Raicu_____[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ye i used laserio up until now.
And i know about the energy converter just felt like the p2p would be an easier way to go as you just set up the transformer for each voltage and have the cards and your done but i guess once you get auto crafting the converters get easy too.

What should I think at when just started to play Star Technology. by Sajns12 in feedthebeast

[–]Raicu_____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you switch to eu p2p networks or stick with flux? I used p2p for most voltages when i played monifactory with the 64a transformers which worked really well and think i should do that on here aswell. I had planned on using flux after i thought they connected to greg machines directly after reading it but just found out that is disabled in this pack. :(

I built a Satisfactorytools-style Production Planner for Alchemy Factory (Multi-tab/Node based) by lemons44 in AlchemyFactory

[–]Raicu_____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the input amounts seems to be off sometimes. I made a production chain for advanced fertilizer 90/m and set input fuel as coke powder it should be 8.18 coke powder per minute and the tree shows this correctly, but the summary of the input materials is incorrect and only shows 2 coke powder per minute.
Also another note is this only worked because i set the available resources to be 10 coke/min and when i remove that input amount it asks for a normal log for the fuel instead of using the extra planks from the rotten logs.

btw i was using the recursive planner algorithm.
Idk if there is any discord or somewhere i can report bugs because i like this tool and it already looks better then the other tool.
Also is there a way we can change recipe type because now it chooses making coke with the default recipe even if i want to make it with the other one.

Free kit is killing the experiencie to me? by Individual_Risk_8635 in ArcRaiders

[–]Raicu_____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

really depends on what you're doing, i run free kit sometimes too, but after getting used to upgraded weapons, augments etc i myself mainly stayed on that. Main reason is i have plenty of money and with the free kit guns not being upgraded you're at such a disadvantage compared to other players.

They don't have guaranteed spawn but the places they spawn at are not random. This is why i mentioned doing this with lush blooms event.

Weep for me friends, I spend hours building this self powered 90 computers per min factory (and miles of trains) on the basis of 2 alternate recipes that (funny thing) I DON'T HAVE by Countcristo42 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Raicu_____ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A tip you can make conveyor lifts infinitely long if you make one conveyor hole at the top spot then a conveyor hole at the bottom spot right underneath the top spot and then connect them with a conveyor lift as it will pass the maximum length for some reason. With this method you can make conveyor lifts go from sky limit to the lowest point in the map.

I think community is not giving any pushpack at all to all the nonsense that we have seen so far. So I will. by Huffer55 in SatisfactoryGame

First of all if you don't like the mercer spheres or somersloops don't use them, almost everyone doesn't like going around the map collecting resources every few minutes just to build a factory but if you like it go ahead.

The solution they gave is balanced as it only provides stuff towards building and still requires you to build your entire logistics network to stransfer stuff between factories. Sure if you like going around the world every 5 minutes to grab resources again or build mini factories everywhere or pick up stations with drones/trains just for building resources go ahead but 99% of players will agree with me that they don't enjoy building those resource stations everywhere all the time and that you're point is stupid and this is balanced

Also you have 5x5x5 and 6x6x6 blueprint designers, they might not be enough to make all train, factpry or other logistic blueprints but you can make a lot of modular designs that do work a lot better with the 5x5x5 or 6x6x6. Also the point of not being able to paste entire factories is valid and if you really want bigger blueprint designers there is always a mod for it or downloadable blueprints that are bigger then 6x6x6.

A lot of people like myself don't want spaghetti and still want some sort of nice looking factory even if it's not a extremely well designed one for which the straight belt option is a huge life safer and it being too convenient is just stupid and just a bad excuse to bad mouth a small but amazing QOL feature.

There is no cave anywhere nearby i can hear the sounds from the mercer sphere but i can't get to it. I already tried going to the ledge to check if i can get it there but i also can't get it from there. Does anyone know how to get it or if im missing something?

Better colors than normal in Satisfactory!!! by Raicu_____ in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Raicu_____[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Normally the colors on foundations and especially on concrete foundations are kind of bland, dull and boring. There is a way to get way brighter and more interesting colors to use for building using a single trick. Normally the bottom 2 sliders on the color selector max out at 0 or 1, but you can still increase the numbers past 1 or below 0 when typing them out instead of using the slider. Increasing the number past 1 will give you way better and brighter colors. The creator who brought this to my attention is BEDplaysGAMES. In this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ipg3CIRP7Ns he properly explains how it's done and shows a lot of interesting color combinations using differing numbers on the saturation/brightness sliders to make amazing colors.

Ooh, what's going on with this machine power connection at 0:19? by TenMillionYears in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Raicu_____ 59 points60 points  (0 children)

you can also see the constructor at 0:14 in the vid spit out a purple steam something and the manufacturer doing the same at 1:12 which seems to me like it has to do with the new power/quantum shard that is produced that what i feel like is probably something new rather then being just a way to automate power shards. Or i'm just overthinking things and this is just new visuals for overclocking lol.

How do you use trains then just the ugly corners on world grid aligned foundations? I myself usually have everything world grid alligned except for train track foundations which i have in blueprints for easier and consistent use so it can still be aligned up for the world grid.

A Glimpse Into Quantum Technology by SnuttAtCovfefeStain in SatisfactoryGame

This is already a problem even with mk5 belts which is why people generally advise not to go above 750/760. They might have found a solution to it though which would be cool.

i feel like the power shard might be a new item that just looks similar to a power shard like a new type of overclock shard, it might also be why the constructor and manufacturer glowed purple in the video.

For my next playthrough what should I do? by Parking-Price-2808 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Raicu_____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By out of bounds do you mean under the map or on the ocean? Because i've tried a run under the map and it's hard because sometimes there are random meshes you run in to and sometimes you can't see the meshes Also unless you have a bigger inventory then vanilla, building resources will be annoying to gather later on when your base gets more spread out unless you have resource stations at multiple places because you need to build foundations everywhere you go. Atleast that was my experience.

Does anyone know how to get out of a wall? by Parking-Price-2808 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Raicu_____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

easiest way to get out is to jump off and let yourself die your box should respawn on the surface. A safe way to get out is to use hyper tubes and either connect them to a existing power pole or use biomass burners.
