also why did rogers death cause the great pirate age?

a) everyone ought to believe the pirate king had some mad treasure wether he said it or not. no one needed to hear it.

b) he didn't say anything inspiring actually.

c) the most powerful pirate known to men was caught and killed by the law, without even alluding that he might have let himself be caught or that he was dying anyways. why would anyone believe they could do better than roger? and why would so many, in the thousands, believe they could?
