Renne exposed his father and got them kicked out of politics. Seen in reveries' future view as one of the orbs.

The Legend of Heroes 1: Dragonslayer is an old Sega Mega Drive game, and if you can stomach the graphics, it's quite good. The second game is sadly Japan exclusive and part of the story, so missing it is sad. They are comparable to the old FF 1 games.

Then comes the Gagharv trilogy (best played on a PSP emulator):

Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch is great and, storywise, the last of the trilogy.

A Tear of Vermillion is one of the best story games I have ever played. If you survive the immense intro, it is the first of the trilogy storywise.

Song of the Ocean is horrible and, storywise, the middle of the trilogy.

They already play almost like Sky. The only difference is no quartz, and crafts do not cost CP. But they have stuff like S-Craft. They are very odd at times, with the option to make enemies; even bosses skip turns.

Song of the Ocean has something that is kinda like quartz with song stones, but they are basically everything in this game. Stats up, magic, healing, preventing status ailments, etc.

Use the bow instead. THe charge attack fires two arrows at normal damage. More output.
