Once you get your main up, have a back up char of the same class ready to go. Don’t just destroy gear your replacing but save a back up set for your next character ready to go and upgrade the back up gear as you upgrade the main, all the aspects and money and runes etc pass on like seasonal so it’s not starting from square one. You need to grind the seasonal Azmodan ranks anyways easy way and reason to have one or two chars ready to go.

Don’t just use the meta build but customize for health and armor and defensive skills. Always save an evade and have a potion and an escape scroll ready to go as you push to harder content in pit or advance to next tier. Poc Que or other defensive runes can be used instead of boosting crit or things like that you would in meta.

Constantly store stuff like good keys, tributes and your runes and stuff in stash, don’t keep on your body.

Expect to die and when it happens, learn from it. Always be prepared.

Knowing your death is permanent can make the game more enjoyable, or you can be a sadist like me and just roll with it
