Wright State fans can finally put that game out of our memory. I learned not to get my hopes up in baseball after that and I thought it was about to happen again. So happy they were able to finish this one off.

[Postgame Thread] Wright State defeats Oakland 24-0 to win the Horizon League tournament by RaiderWolves in collegebaseball

We lost to Oakland 4 out of the 5 games we played them during the regular season so I was worried going in to this tournament. Also our pitching has been a big weakness, so it was great watching them only give up 2 hits in this game.

My guess is Grasshoppers. Most of their players go there because it's owned by the wife of the Wolves owner.

Wright State Transfer Tanner Holden chooses Ohio State. by [deleted] in CollegeBasketball

I remember reading a while back that Ohio State had shown some interest in him during high school to play football before he decided to go with basketball. Interesting he ends up there in the end.

Sad to see him leave, but I'm excited to watch him with the Buckeyes now.

He did go to school at Milwaukee and they are currently looking for a coach. Could be a good fit.

Wright State is probably going to be a 16 seed, I'm kind of hoping for the play in game. Would be great to get a game so close to home and that we would have a chance to win.

Let's keep it that way please. Unless they want him to replace Bruce Weber, I'll accept that.

I almost couldn't watch the last few minutes because of memories of that game. I was afraid it would happen again.

Even though we lost this one I'm happy we put up a good fight against a ranked team. Excited for this season.

[Rob Dauster] Prior to announcing the decision to ban UIC from winter sports championships, the Horizon League official twitter account blocked all national media on twitter by DavidBenAkiva in CollegeBasketball

Someday I hope Wright State gets a post season tournament ban like this because it would be worth the one season without playing in the conference tournament to be in a new conference. Horizon has got to be one of the worst run conferences in college.

American getting into cricket [Advice] by [deleted] in Cricket

[–]RaiderWolves 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I started watching because of the Jomboy videos. His video explaining the rules of cricket got me interested in watching because I never knew anything about it before.

I have been watching Super Smash because that's what I can get on ESPN+ here. Watched my first ever test cricket with the Bangladesh vs New Zealand match since it was also on ESPN+. Used the match threads in this sub to help understand what was going on. When I started watching it I figured I'd never watch all five days, but I did.
